if there will be walls in the game, wwont it be great if people can just grapple with someone else and just smash his head to that wall or something? or the guy whose being grappled could like do a wall trick or something to get realeased from the grappple? also for the stage, i think that torturing would be cool too. you know the type that you could do in Wild 9 (an old ps1 game)

the characters could have the different escapes that their discipline teaches them. i know that there are alot. for example if a guy has you in a head lock, some karatekas would know how to escape that no matter how large the agressor is.

they need to change the weapons system. its not too cool for me. they need to have guard impact like that in soul calibur 2.

weapons cant be blocked if one is unarmed.

throwing weapons at someone is ok. the guy can either be hit or can dodge it and it'l like hit a wall and stay there or something. if the weapon impales him and he loses life, he can pull it out like in real life.

it would be cool if they could make the weapons look and feel heavier or something.

the characters should also move the way they are supposed to. if he's thin, then he should be fast etc.

Bah. BAH! No.
I mean sure, it's not very realistic to be able to block a swordstrike with your forearm and take no damage, likewise it IS possible to remove an impaled weapon from your own body...
BUT WHO CARES!? Would it really be fun if someone sliced off your feebly blocking arms with one slash, forbidding you from throwing any punches for the rest of the round?
You need to think about what these things would do to the gameplay. I think the only things that need be more realistic are the graphic effects (inc. fatalities.) Surreal gameplay just makes it more fun.

hey you can always duck or sidestep weapon attacks. they hafta be slow and predictable though...
