Third Knob??!

This is something wierd I noticed, perhaps some of you out there know what's going on.
On the character select screen, you get 3 blue 'knobs' to the left (or right if you're Player 2) of the large character portrait. I know that two of these are settings windows that can be invoked the the shoulder button, but so far I've found no way of accessing the third knob!
I was wondering if this is what Ed Boon meant by there being no more new characters on the main menu - perhaps the third knob is a bonus character selection window for the Super Unlockables (if they exist) - I could see that working.
Does anyone else know what that third knob is for?

One is for stage select, one is for handicap (change the amount of life you start with) the third is for wager (bet on who wins with koins, the amount you bet is the amount the winner gets.

Ah, I see! I forgot about that option even though I used it loads in Deadly Alliance. Still, there seems little point in having that option in this game since Koins are just so easy to come by in huge quantities and don't seem anywhere near as important as before! It took me about a month to unlock the whole Krypyt in DA but I managed to open all the Koin Koffins in Deception in about 2 days! Koins are useless to me now, I'm just racking them up as high as they can go for the heck of it!

After seeing this i went and tried. what do u have to do to slect the Level select bar?

Press Black and it goes in.
I got well scared when i saw the title! Third Knob lol.

I only finished the krypt in DA this summer lol
let's see since march of 2003 'til august 2004 = 18 months...now that's longevity!
I'll do the same with deception, altough that's pretty tough cause the coins just get in your way begging to be snatched...

Ive unlocked almost everything in the krypt now and ive only had the game for a week!
