This is probably setting up for either a sequel, or a spin off, or both

I've been thinking about this, and I'm not sure if this has been touched upon, I haven't read every single thread, nor have I bothered to listen to Boon's interview yet.

Anyway, it occurs to me that if DC approached Midway, it was to set up a near MK-style Justice League fighter for the future; perhaps testing the waters to see if Midway/Boon has what it takes to make a game worthy of the DC characters, and what better exposure than to have these guys vs the Kombatants?

If this game works out, we'll probably have MK one year and Justice League the next, or perhaps the JL will be handled by another group within Midway..This might not be a bad thing after all if we end up with two awesome series in the end.

Well, it would be cool if this series branched off with keeping the universes together for at least another game. What I would say though is that the MK Team should hand the responsibility of making the game over to the team that made Shaolin Monks....while the MK Team can make the next real MK game.

I'd have to say though that if they did that there'd probably be an extreme quality difference between the games gameplay wise.
