Thoughts on the Hari-Kari

Here's an idea:

I think Hari-Kari moves should only be allowed in the third round of a match....reason being, if your not good enough to win at least one round, you shouldn't have the ability to rob someone of their fatality satisfaction....if its a close match, and it goes to the third round, the option should be there.....if you get schooled in two rounds, your only option should be to watch your character die....painfully!

Just like the Babality/Animality/Friendship...there were conditions that had to be met in order to embarass your opponent with these "special" finishers.....so should it be with the Hari-Kari move...


any thoughts?

do we know for a fact that it wont be this way?...do we know exactly how it will work?....i only ask because i haven't heard many details on the hari-kari....only that it will be a "fastest fingers" type of thing during the fatality portion of the final match....are there any conditions at all for commiting hari-kari?....or can it be done every time no matter what?

Get the spelling right!!!
I do agree with your idea though, if you get your ass kicked in 2 rounds, you should be stuck with getting Fatality on your ass.

The Psm staff got it wrong. i have read several books by japanese authors, seen several japanese movies, and checked it out in 3 dictionaries. It is Hara-kiri.
Edit: I do not mean to sound like flaming,or be rude. From all i know, the word is Hara-kiri. You may have other "sources" and i respect that.

i would personally rather see a third or fourth fatality for each character than a suicide option... this is mortal kombat, if you lose, you deserve to die

robing some jerk out of the satisfaction is half the fun, u win regardless, there should be a second posion move where u drink and fail over and die, and then its haha hahaha u dont get a show, i gayified ur victory and ruined it and it would be sweet

i like the idea of stealing the kill from the victor by killing yourself i've wanted something like that for a long time... but i do agree that it would be cool if it were a round 3 type deal.. but i think it will be anytime anywhere and then just a race to do the finisher move first.... i'd like to see more fatalities as well... but i'll be happy with the 2 as usual that's enough for me ... and the hari-kari is pretty much a 3rd fatality per character.. it's just a self fatality... should be interesting

How the fuck can people judge Hara Kiri if they haven't even seen it yet?

I think the computer shouldn't be able to do a Hara Kiri.Only human players should be able to perform a Hara Kiri.

it doesn't matter to me when it's performed. it'll save me the time to tell them "you suck. kill yourself" because they'll be one step ahead of me.
