Baraka is still a mutant, just there is a whole race of mutated freaks like him.

I like how the stoies are so far, just Darrius should have a outfit change. Just a bit different I say.

Darrius: I like the bio. It's similar to Hotarus and they're both enemies and this tells me that they're both seeking different types of order, probably for opposing clans or higher powers. He's fighting for freedom, but freedom from what?

Shujinko: I want to know why Scorpion is his enemy. And what is the kamidogu? Hopefully more will surface about him in Konquest, although I'm sure it will.

Scorpion: Interesting and unexpected! His bio seems to be similar to the one I wrote for him not long ago. It seems the Elder Gods are going to want him to do something for them, but Scorpion will most likely have a price. Namely, Quan Chi. it may come to being that he has no choice but to do as they ask and forget about Quan Chi, just like in my bio. He may have a new mission and purpose for being now which gives his story new life.

Sub-Zero: I like this one also. He's finally found his heritage. I can't wait to see who his family are or were and where his true origins lie and how his power came into being. I'm disappointed however, as it says he has to deal with Barakas people! What happened to the Tekunin and Mavado being after him? And what about Frost? Where's Sareena too?

Baraka: This is interesting and again is similar to the bio I write for him. One difference is that there is no mention of quan chi and Baraka is still working for him as far as we know. This bio may be incomplete.

well I think that Darrius sounds awesome so far but I dont have the magezine so im not sure what he exactly looks like. He might be a changed dariou or he might be his ally. im still wondering what his weapon will be because they better give him something big that will suit his character not any small daggers or anything. also when they say he has sunglasses can someone tell me are they like the terminaters glasses or are they different because right now im seeing terminater glasses lol. maybe someone could scan the pic of him (if its legal).

shijinko sounds awesome and its about time one of the MK characters were old from the start and looked like it. I mean raiden is thousands of years old but every fighter in the first MK tournament was in their 30s or 40s lol. I liked how that guy in the movie snake in the eagles shadow used a pipe as his weapon that was pretty badass. still I wonder that if in konquest mode you keep waiting around meditating to get all the secrets, will you run out of time and have to do it again? or will you be able to just keep on unlocking stuff as you find it. anyways he sounds awesome and it will be funny to play him online because people wont know what to expect from him but im pretty sure that some people will be copying others so that they have a good combination of styles.

scorpion...all I can say is finally! and you are right tgrant his story is similar to yours that you made. I hope that scorpion will take a broader look on life and see that it isnt all about him and that if he doesn't decide to start thinking about others as well he won't be of any use at all. He will have to grasp the idea of strength in numbers and having people to rely on. Yes his life might have sucked pretty bad with everyone dieing but the elder gods might give him a chance to not only revive his family but his entire clan. this would give scorp other things to focus on then just getting revenge. then maybe scorps clan could realize that they and the lin kuei could be powerful allies. stuff like that lol

Sub-Zero's story looks like he isnt worrying about the threats to him that much now so much as worrying about staying alive himself. maybe they just didnt tell us that part but im thinking that the lin kuei is heading down and Sub knows it. So maybe he is just getting himself ready for the long haul. I mean he has already ran from the clan once because of the cyber ninja incident. So what is to stop him from finding a new grandmaster for it and leaving again to go out on his own. Also looking at another extreme now that he has this new threat of the dragon kings army he will try to find alliances (at least temporary ones) to battle the dragon king. I cant wait for this story to unfold.

Baraka- does it seem that the MK team decided to change the dragon kings army to fit him? I wasnt sure what they were but they sure didnt look like Barakas species to me. Unless the dragon king got a new recruits for his army. baraka hasnt every been a big person for me to play as because i never really played much MK before DA but maybe this game will change my mind about him. man this game looks so good!

I like the direction Scorpion is going in. I'm hoping with my fingers crossed that he see's the "light" and realizes the threat of The Dragon King. It seems to me that the only reason Quan Chi is in this is because of Scorpion. I say kill Quan Chi, set aside your differences with Lin Kuei, and make a kick ass trio of Sub-Zero, Smoke, and Scorpion.

Here's my wish for scorpion: He meets the elder gods and makes a deal with them. They want the Dragon King dead. If he accomplishes this task, they will restore his soul, his humanity, etc. He returns in MK7 as Hanzo. That'd be sweet.

Scorpion: As it is, he has a great story so far (bout time they did something with him!) His look however... WAY too similar to his MK:DA look. Maybe they'll freshen it up before the game comes out? They did that to him before MK:DA came out after all so who knows.

Sub-Zero: Hmm, after playing through a whole seperate game about his origins, I'm not entirely sure I want to hear a plotline about the origins of his powers. Seems kinda pointless to me. I know, different Sub Zero, but still. He has the Tekunin and Mavado after him, and he has stories with Frost and Sareena. Why wouldn't they further those stories instead? I also think his look is kinda lame. I like the fur and what not, but the Shredder helmet just looks worse every time I see it. Still, at least they updated him (cough Scorpion cough).

Baraka: Another story where Baraka is the general of someone elses army? Gee, where have I heard this... Oh well, he's still my favorite character. I like that they've given him a race, and that his armies are the backbone of the DK's army. Plus he looks pretty damn cool.

Shujinko: The story is pretty plain and open ended, but I like that. He's a more maleable character, and his story should reflect that. Plus, I definitely dig the look. It's nice to see a martial arts master who actually looks like his age reflects his skills. I definitely like the idea of taking this guy through konquest.

Darrius: I'm also assuming that this is what Dairou has evolved into. I really like his story, as it gives us someone from Order Realm, as well as a leader who's loved by some and hated by others. He doesn't seem to be quite so cut and dry and I dig characters like that. His look is decent, though not overly inspired. If you haven't seen the picture, think of a younger Morpheus from the Matrix and you're pretty much there. His arms are huge, and his waist his small, which is kinda odd. I'm hoping he has a pony tail or something though. He needs a bit more to make his look unique right now.

Rayden: His look needs to be changed, way to similar to MK:DA. Still, I like the idea of his story, though I'm really hoping that it means he's dead, and not just mortal or something like that, since we've seen that plotline already.

Overall, solid stories for most, and the looks are pretty cool as well. I'll be looking forward to seeing alt costumes for Shujinko, Darrius, etc. Keep the info coming!!

What I like is that Baraka's race is FINALLY given a name. Before, we just called them nomads or mutants. But, now, they've got a name

and they come from a mixture of Netherealm demons and Outworld demons....oooh, a forbidden tryst. heh heh

Darrius- Sounds interesting and adds some new light on Hotaru's story.

Shujinko- How every character appears in Konquest has been explained. I'm interested in why Scorpion is listed as one of his foes.

Sub-Zero- So now Baraka's race wants to kill Sub-Zero too? There must be something about Sub-Zero that just makes people hate him, man's got a damn target on his chest. Learning more about his powers sounds intriguing.

Scorpion- This sounds very good. I'm glad they didn't have Scorpion die and then just return again and what happens with the Elder Gods sounds like it'll be cool.

Baraka- Little disappointed that he's just a lackey for the Dragon King too. I liked the idea of him fighting Mileena. Hopefully what everyone said is true and that'll be added later.
