Three new match vids...Kung Lao & Kano vs Scorpion
good stuff as usual
I have a running archive of all your videos...
I taped last night...over 30 matches
lot's of good stuff, maybe I could just send you the tape? Or you can wait till I convert everything....who knows how long that could take, I'm very busy lately.
All my current footage is on X-Box, so alot of my combos aren't as crisp as they could be...
very kool none the less
you guys will see stuff you have never seen before.

is there sound on those vids? i didn't get any sound...
I hope to get some PS2 footage later this week. It goes without saying that I perform better on the PS2. I can also play longer on the playstation. My fingers hurt after a while on the type S. This game is still fun for me. It helps to have opponents. My biggest problem is that my friends give up eventually. The MK tournament that popped up recently has given me a few guys to play with and renewed interest from some of my other friends. I think most people just need a reason to play, or at least a group of friends t play with. Finding people in your local area is key since arcades are pretty much a relic of the past. organize a local tourney, with people paying an entry fee. Split the pot with the finalists. The tournaments can be fully self sufficient.

Agilo Wrote: Ray, instead of taping it, (or after doing so) export it into a PC file format like .AVI with DivX. I wanna see too. |
That's the plan Agilo...he's going to send me the tape and I will capture and host the vids.
Yeah I have two tapes ready. PLaying against Mr. Schpfmut.I also have some footage against my friend Trocki, who only plays Scorpion. He has gotten alot better. This proves that if you play with the right people, anyone can get good at this game.
Next time I play with my own controller, and no slacking. I don't have to worry about him quitting...he's a trooper and he takes his beatings like a man. I got Mr. Schpfmut to start playing random, I think it helps his game. I encourage everyonr to play random. In order to be good at this game you have to know every character, random select is the best way to do that.

1. The only way to get better is to get your ass handed to you over and over again.
2. This is my philosophy...Learn everyone.
True and True
Just so you know guys, I don't claim to be the best...when we tested this game, Adam Hernandez handed me my ass consistently. Although, I did beat him mnore than a few times. I knew that even if "he" could beat me, that doesn't mean anyone else could. I think our fighting styles matched in his favor. He was very patient, and waited for his opportunities. At the time, I was ultra aggressive and I played the tempo game. This style of play would have me fall into his traps.
I started playing more defensively as well, with better results.
Although, I kept playing, even after the game was done...Adam, if you are out there. We should play some MK. You are my greatest rival, and I can't wait for the next MK.
Hopefully we can get the same crew for the next MK, seriously good times. Back to the Lab...
