Human Smoke should come back, I loved that character...Shut up, whoever started this thread. YES, he can come back. UMK3, his ending said he had regained humanity. ( Seeing as MK3 is still MK3, it counts,and it happened.) MK Trilogy, never occured, though. Smoke should be brought back, Kill yourself if you think otherwise.

First of all Cyrax may have little humanity in him but he's mostly machine, kind of like Darth Vader from star wars. I guess it's the same deal with Smoke, but Smoke, Cyrax, and Sektor can never come as total humans, but in my world they're more machine then, humans. Who said I don't appreciate Smoke? I think he's a very cool character, I'm just sayint it's doubtful he'll ever return as a total human.

He isn't a direct copy. His CHARACTER isn't a copy, even though his moves were. I like his character, I always hated his moves, since they were Scorpion's. He would have been killer with his own custom moves, especially needs to change the spear, or at least alter it.

First of all...they an do whatever they want with Smoke...they brought a loser like Johnny cage back after he DIED!! Why not Make Smoke human again? you think that would be lame? Boon has done alot lamer stuff than that... I say Bring Human Smoke back!

Yeah, Johnny did die, but Smoke has been alive too long to get back his old body. His human corpse is decomposed, and there's no way the god's can return his soul to his decomposed body. I don't believe Johnny was dead for that long.

Read Smoke's UMK3 ending, dude...He'll be back. Fan basis liked him as much as Baraka..Trust me, He'll come back...Keep doubting yourself.

i dont even think u need a body, decomposed or not! when u escape the netherrealm, your soul just bekomes flesh again. look at how Quan Chi escaped, he didnt need to go back into a body or anything, it just happens. so maybe when smoke died and went to the netherrealm, he didnt have his mechanical parts bekuz he is just a soul right, and then when he escapes, he keeps the form he was in while in that realm, which was human. thank u thank u- i'll be here all week.

First of all Smoke never died. He was put in a cyborg body with very little human body parts left of him inside the cyborg. And Quan Chi didn't die either. Scorpion brought him along with him while Quan Chi was transporting him back to the netherrealm (Remember in MK4?) Quan Chi only got out cause he still had the amulet. I don't believe you have to be dead to enter the Nether realm because Raiden sent the older Sub-Zero to the Nether realm in Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero

his umk3 ending and mkt ending are the same.

Smoke was once a friend and ally of Sub-Zero when they both tried to escape from being turned into machines by their ninja clan. But Smoke is captured and transformed into a cyborg with a mission to find and kill his own partner. But Smoke soon finds himself being persued by Shao Kahn's minions.
He finds he still has a soul and his true mission if the destruction of the Outworld invaders.

He defeats Kahn and saves the world, but is forever trapped in his artificial body.



personally, i dont care either way. i never did like smoke. i always called him "the other scorpion" noob was also scorpion at first, but thank got he got his own moves. even in his cyber form, i didnt like him. too many characters that look alike.

imo, smoke shouldnt return. 3 "ninjas" in one game is enough.(sub, scorpion, frost) if smoke does return, he should have his own look (and moves) and shouldnt be part of the lin kuei.

frost: should be killed off for good.

human smoke or cyborg smoke doesn't matter to me. i'll take either one, but make his costume different and his moves give him his own moves.
and just for kicks they can always bring human smoke back for FUN and not the STORY but him in the krypt 2 to unlock.

man this is no problem haveing up to 5 or six nijas in the game as long as you got a lot more characters that are not ninjas!

Anywas it is very possible smoke can become human again lets say some god on the good side decides to make smoke human again and makes him and subzero allys again. There is going to be new characters and whi knows what they are capable of in the story

if u guys have a problem playing with ninjas, just use their alt costumes. skorp has ninja fit and a flamming skull avenger fit. sub has a ninja, and unmasked. same will be with smoke if he returns probly: one ninja, one not so ninja. same goes for all others. NINJAZ RULE!

What if Cyborg Smoke fell into Quan Chi's chamber like Drahmin did in his ending? Just a thought.

I personally think Ed can do what ever he wants to! Hell...he made the game!! If he wants to put a human smoke back in, why not? He can make up any story plot as to how he came back that he wants! The keystroke is mighter than the pen my friends!! I personally would be happier with more characters to chose from; makes for a more complex game to master.

i think the majority of mk fans loves ninjaz. i believe that ED boon himself loves ninjas. look at all the mk games that he made:

mk1 - 3 ninjas
mk2 - 5 male ninjas, 3 female ninjas
mk3 - 1 unmasked subzero, no ninjas (not counting robots)

notice mk3 had no ninjas, and it also didnt sell much and most ppl said it was the worse mk. so a solution was made:

Ultimate mk3 - mk3 but with a plethora of NINJAS
mkT- shitload of characters and lots of ninjas.

then an mk rpg (mkM) was made with subzero; a ninja. good game, sold.

a second mk rpg was made (mkSF) with sonya and jax; didn't sell.

mk4 came out - 4 ninjas
mkG - 4 male ninjas, 2 female ninjas, (not counting robots)

in conclusion, the majority of us die hard mk fans LOVE ninjas! so bring back Human Smoke (with his own set of moves)
