Some people just can't or don't want to express themselves in too much detail. I think people aren't pissed at MK VS DCU because it has DC characters in it, but more because of what that represents. It's not much the fact that Superman is in it (although it does sound ridiculous), but the fact that the inclusion of Superman and his friends destroy a lot of other things we hoped for in the game in terms of storyline, continuation, and MK doing well for itself with a big break into the next-gen rather than using DC.

Or maybe I'm just talking about myself. Either way, I'd like to think that the opposers of this game have deeper reasons behind their dislike, and I think that's true.

I still think that the core of the game is, and will be, the gameplay.
If they don't screw it over, then I think we can expect a good, or maybe even very good game.

I don't like the very idea of Mortal Kombat doing a crossover. It's not DC...I like DC. I'd feel the same way if is MK vs. Street Fighter, Marvel, or anything else. I just don't like it. It's a gut reaction.

Let me put it this....I like the Lord of the Rings movies. I also like the Friday the 13th movies. But I would never want to see Jason vs. Aragorn. The very idea in itself is just too ludicrous for me.

True, gameplay still has chances of being excellent since we don't have much info in it and the info we've gotten so far is pretty interesting. So if what you want out of MK is great gameplay, there's a great chance you'll be happy with this new game and enjoy it. People who have/had higher expectation for it that go beyond gameplay, however, are gonna have a tougher time doing the same, if that's even impossible.
