Why should the people that don't agree with your opinion have to explain why? You didn't explain why you THINK there are 'too many' races.

I guess you really don't understand the story of MK.

I think the many races in MK add to the uniqueness of the series. Like Ed Boon said, "Reality is boring." Gods, spectres, mutants, shokan, lizard-creatures, Oni, all help add to the un-real aspect of the game.

I agree with you sort of. "Reality is boring" but thinking of MK in terms of our reality is one of the reasons that I like MK as much I do. Making sense of MK universe is, to me anyway, just as fun as playing the game.

The different races in MK add a lot of depth and background to the storyline.
