I don't mean to bump, but I know a couple of you have done this... I want to decide whether or not I'll spend the next five hours trying to win at max.

its impossible to beat the game without gameshark cheats, and the triangle trick you have to open ur profile to aviod the go back to main menu thingy, and u can unlock him forever but IMO he is garbage and nothing special i never like his slow ass anyway, i miss quan chi if i had him i could beat the game on max without cheats and i can kick everybodys ass.

How do you unlock Motaro?

Hey guys, who do you unlock him. And btw, a pic would be appreciated since no one has put one up anywhere.

For PS2, beat game on Max without using a continue then go to versus/arcade, select Scorpion using some button combo which I forget.
I'm trying to see if it's the same combo for Xbox.
Also, how do you select Motaro after you unlock him like the next time you want to use him? Just select Scorpion with the same combo?

I agree, I want proof. Doing what I have read is alot of hard work, and its not worth it if he's not there. I don't even know if it works for xbox yet

What are Motaro's fighting styles? Centaur? What are they?
Any weapon?
What are his special moves?

I just beat it on Max without kontinues OR Gameshark . There's NO Motaro people!! You should have known Subzero was full of crap when he said it was impossible to beat without a cheat device. That not only proves he's full of sh*t but he's also bad at the game.

I haven't tried it yet. It doesn't sound very real, but it's on gamespot too so I figure someone there must have tried it out to confirm it.
And thats why I was asking if Subzero meant that it was literally impossible to beat game without gamesharks. I think some other people said the same thing though. Nevertheless, I want a pic.

here's a tip to how to beat the game if u're losing: have the second controller plugged in and challenge player 1. u can do as late as when the comp is about to do a fatality, but i recomand u do it earlier. this tricks works on mk4 and mk:da also. probably any fighting game. lol

First of all, this is TOTALLY not Midway's style.
And second, everytime a new fighting games out, almost ANY time..lol...some dumbass will post a fake trick saying "Beat the game on hardest without using continues"...it's always the same thing, beat the game, no continues....it's a dead giveaway.
