SU's have always been a part of MK and not having them is a disgrace. If there are no SU's in MKD then MKD sux ass. Sure people say it's still a great game, but I spent $60 on a game I thought was part of the MK series, if it doesn't have SU's, then it isn't in my eyes! Flame me all you want, I don't care, Ed Boon sux as does MKD if there are no SU's. Sure Boony boy didn't say there weren't, oh wait, yes- no- maybe, they were all stated. Does the MK team know nothing of their own game? Do they simply smoke too much pot to remember? Who knows. Reveal the SU's Boon or be forever doomed to poverty.
Boycotting Midway, who's with me? Why declare loyalty to a half- ass production team. I declare my loyalty to Namco's fighting series now. Tekken and Soul Calibur kick ass! And no phony SU's to boost sales of a shallow game which takes less than a week to complete. So what if konquest takes longer, as far as we know there is no point to do so other than characeters and arenas.furious

there are SU's!!!!! but to find them you must take either a candle or a lighter, and hold the disc up to it. The flame acts as a laser, and unlocks the extra people. After you do this, you must un-install the internet. Deal with itwink

So let me try to understand this logic here. MKD sucks becuase of no SU characters, even though it has more than DA had, and a huge konquest mode, and online play, and two fun mini games to boot. But discard all of that because there are no SUs, and thus, the game sucks now.

Well, I'm glad that I wasted my fifty bucks then. If you dont want it, throw it away and dont ever play it again. No one really gives a crap anyways, so just throw it away and cut your loses if you are that mad.

You bought the game only for the SU??? OK I see that SU are really important to you... But why go to Namco? Soul Calibur and Tekken dosen't have SU at all... You're sure you wont be disapointed again? lolgrin

Well he has a point, if all MK games have had SU's then this too should have. A game just doesn't seem or feel totally complete without the minor details. I'm still buying the game when it gets here, but I'll just probably play it for about a month or more, and just get tired of it. And this is all, if there are no SU's. I remember that I started playing more MKDA after I got Mokap and Blaze, even though I didn't use them, it just got my interest again. I weren't even expecting more SU's or anything like that. The human mind is a mystery.wink

i'll be honest with you. i love this game. i work my ass off to get 60 lousey dollars and it was worth it. i love this game and i love playing every single minuite of it. but right now, i dont care if there is any SU or not. cause MKD is awesome and its the best MK game in history (in my world that is). to me, it doesnt matter. if there is a SU, then i will jump with joy but at the moment, i just dont care.

Liu Kang was prettty ass-hard to find, unless you cheated by looking on an FAQ or asked on a chat/message board.
If he's not enough of a super-unlockable, then you're just asking to much.

People keep saying they want "Super Unlockables, but what I think they really want is something more like Reptile, Jade, Smoke, and Noob from MK1 and MK2. Something more interesting that sitting around for hours meditating to find crap you sould already have had in the beginning. Its about the quality of the secrets and not the number. I think on the Fight Night for MKDA(not MKD) they said something to the effect of we had a Krypt full of secrets. Buying random crap is not satisfying as a secret. Nor is running around for days trying to get things that would have been avalible up front in any other game is not satisfying. Especaly when all you are doing is little more than a big Easter Egg hunt. That was a fun game when I was 5 or 6. Not 26.

Okey, if you don't like the game cuz it doesn't have SUs, too bad for you; return it, burn it, or do whatever you want with it; BUT PLEASE.......PLEAAASEEE STOP MAKING THESE USELESS THREADS!. ALSO, NOONE SAID THERE WERE SUs FOR SURE, OR THAT THERE WEREN'T. But if they are so important to you I think you should re-organize your priorities when it comes to games....

I was obviously referring to the thread creator. Atleast, I figured it to be about as obvious as getting shot in the face.

MK always used to be a digitized 2D fighter with HP,LP, HK, and LK attack buttons.
Things change.

The only Mortal Kombats that have had super unlockables were MK3 (and UMK3) with the Ultimate Kombat Kodes (and human smoke), and MK:DA with Blaze and Mokap.
MK1 had a hidden battle with reptile... nothing unlockable though.
MK2 had hidden battles with smoke, jade, and noob... nothing unlockable though.
MK4, I've never heard of anything unlockable. edit: in fact, while urinating just now, I realized that I'd never even heard the term "super unlockable" used until MK:Deception. Like, in my entire life.

Thats because Boon wants us to know that the real "super-unlockables" are inside each of us...
