Well firstly I want your opinions, do you think MKDA would have been better if tobias had of stayed on or do you think it was a good idea for him to leave? Secondly, does anyone know for sure why he left, like I've heard all the dissagreement with midway stuff. But does anyone know what the disagreements were all about? lastly do you think Tobias will try to return to the MK franchise after the mediocre sales of Tao Feng?

Tobias had the story down, Boon had everything else. I wish they were still together, but probably won't collaborate anytime soon. Just like MK's story sucks without Tobias, Tao Feng sucked in general without Boon.
John Tobias left Midway for good. He didn't like the way they were doing things. So unless Midway allows Ed Boon and their flagship fighting title--Mortal Kombat, go with Tobias to Studio Gigante they'll never work togethr again.
Of course that's an extremely vague answer but I'm tired...

I'm with you Zentile I thought that DA's story was the best one yet, sure some of the character stories were a bit lacking but the plot was superb in my opinion.

Well I didn't meant DA's story sucked, but MK4's story was sub-par. I liked Tobias' original MK story. It was nice and simple. But DA's is good too. And it gives a twist in the first five minutes (the Death of Liu Kang).

I think the storylines to all of the MK games were great (I'm not going to go into talking about MK:SF ok?!)
The MK storyline is like one big puzzle and I wouldn't quite say that it's a "rip-off" of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. It has some similarities to that movie but MK1 was also like the movie Big Trouble in Little China. But neither of those movies had Lin Kuei warriors or Ninjas or characters with 4 arms did they? No, I think not.
