The simple reason is because it is a rule that is stressed in the Community FAQ. It causes your topics to be before everyone else's, and variety of thread authors is something that makes this forum special. The limit is five topics per day; we didn't want to set a limit originally, but with recent events that may be added to the FAQ itself.

I PMed you, requesting that you stop creating so many threads over a short period of time, and I see you have ignored this. I will now delete any future threads you create for the remainder of the time your current topics remain on this first page.
