He has potential. Just like Stryker and Nightwolf did before MK9; now look at them- badasses. Tremor has a cool premise with the earth powers, he's a member of the Black Dragon, he has earth powers (). If they did bring him back, I would want him to not be "the big, brown ninja;" he needs to be fleshed out, both story and gameplay wise, then I think he could be a truly memorable character.

He might be an interesting character, as long as he is something more elaborate than just a brown ninja. To me, it would make more sense if he was some sort of African-American shaman or something like that. On the other hand, we already have Nightwolf, who is basically the same concept.

Or he could be the equivalent of Sub Zero, who is a Cryomancer; maybe Tremor could be a "Terramancer*." So his origins could be he is descended from a race of "earth manipulators" from Outworld.

MK needs more ninjas

tremor is a quote a "terramancer" and i think he should be a lost member of the lin kuei or shirai ryu and take sides with scorpion or sub-zero
