OK, guys, I need help here. I need to ask you guys what every character in Deception had to do with Shujinko in Konquest, since I believe his ending to be true (as well as Raiden's and Liu Kang's). Here's what I got and maybe you can add to it.
Konquest is a bit MK historically inaccurate, but if we put it at different times and different ages, they all could have happened (though I doubt the Black Dragon knew about any other realms until MK1, or that Shujinko met Kenshi at the age of 40 and Kenshi wasn't any smaller, and Shang Tsung looked the same as he did in DA).
JADE
I forgot what the cause of this was, but it's like this. Shujinko was sent to the Living Forest to retrieve a very special item that would bring about the downfall of (I fogot what). He went there only to find that Jade already got it. He fought her for it and won. It was the Kamidogu of Outworld. Jade was sent to get it for Sindel, who was fighting a war with Outworld to protect Edenia. Someone help me with this one, this is all I know I can remember.
KENSHI
Shujinko met Kenshi in Earthrealm, where Kenshi was searching for Shang Tsung (revenge, of course). Kenshi offered to teach Shujinko his style if he could find Shang Tsung for him. Shujinko agreed and set off. He found Shang Tsung and fought him. He won, but was spared. Shang Tsung told him he would meet him in the MK tournament. Shujinko told Kenshi that he would be there, so Kenshi set off and taught him his style as well. (My guess is that Kenshi lost).
SCORPION
While in the Netherealm, Shujinko was asked by Scorpion to locate Quan-Chi for him (so he could continue his torture). Shujinko found him and Scorpion followed. He went after Quan-Chi. Later, Shujinko had found the last Kamidogu and was about to put it back when Scorpion attacked! He was now the Elder God's Champion and was here to prevent Shujinko from doing this evil deed. They fought, but Shujinko clobbered him....bad move.
MILEENA
Mileena and Baraka were leading the Outworld armies against Lei Chen and their leader Zafeero, a former Shao Kahn servant who decided to turn against him. Shujinko decided to stop them (forgot why). He ran into Mileena and fought her over the issue. He won, and Mileena was impressed. She decided to tell Shujinko to deliver a message to Zafeero: if he sacrifices himself to them, all the citizens of Lei Chen would be spared.
BARAKA
But he didn't. Instead, Shujinko went to the Realm of Order and, under Zafeero's asking while telling him of the deal they were willing to make, asked Hotaru to send his forces over there to protect them from Outworld. He did. While exiting the city, two Tarkatan warriors captured Shujinko and brought him to Baraka. His punishment was death, but Shujinko refused to just lie down. THey fought, and Shujinko won. Baraka was impressed and Shujinko decided to make a deal: he would teach him his fighting style and he would never return to Outworld. Everyone would think he died.
SUB-ZERO
It is my believing that the Sub-Zero we're talking about has to be the third, present Sub-Zero's grandfather. Hey, it's possible. Anyway, Shujinko decided he wanted to learn more and joined the ranks of the Lin Kuei. They allowed him to, since if he had Bo Rai Cho's medal he had to be a great warrior. Sub-Zero taught him the moves.
SINDEL
Sindel was being held captive by Shao Kahn's forces who had infiltrated Edenia in their struggle to win it back. Shujinko had agreed to help Kitana defeat them, so he rescued her. He infiltrated the Edenian Palace to find Tanya guarding her. Shujinko beat her up and rescued Sindel. They went back to the palace and Sindel taught him her moves as payment.
More coming, but feel free to add anything I may have missed.

LI MEI
Shujinko was wandering Outworld and spotted by Kano. He ordered him to join the rest of the slaves in building the Deadly Alliance a fortress or die. While going around, he ran into Li Mei, who was competing in an upcoming tournament to free her people, but was actually just trying to get closer to Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi to defeat them. She asked Shujinko to train her. He did, even though he thought it was a rash idea.
BO RAI CHO
Since he was a young boy, Shujinko has been a student of Bo Rai Cho's. He excelled in all of his classes, however he would not let Shujinko out of the village unless he defeated him. It was then that "Damashi" approached Shujinko and gave him the power to absorb people's fighting skills as well as the mission to find the Kamidogu. This made him an awesome fighter and he went back and defeated Bo Rai Cho. Thus he took him to his home outside the village walls and taught him some of his own moves. The training lasted for years and then Bo Rai Cho instructed Shujinko to travel the world for more of his training. But before he left to find his medal which he misplaced at the docks. He got it, but Damashi told him not to return it. He would need it if he wished to impress certain people.
ERMAC & ASHRAH
Shujinko met Ashrah while in the Netherealm. She offered to pay him if he could lead Ermac to her, so she can slay him and purify herself more. What a coincidence that Ermac had been sent to the Netherealm to defeat Ashrah, who has been slaying many of Shao Kahn's soldiers there. He told him where Ashrah was (before that, giving him a stone that would help Ermac to move in the Netherealm). Ermac went to meet Ashrah and Shujinko watched the two of them fight. Ermac seemed to be winning, but Ashrah was relentless. He never found out who won, though.
more coming.....

Well, I think anything involving an MK: Deception character has to be canon in MK Konquest.
All you have to do is rearrange some of the events, since some of the stories happen out of time and continuity.

Hey good job dude!
I would want to help you, but I didn't really tired to put the story together yet.
I did realise some events are time innacurate, but I think this is just kind of a way to reaveal a big piece of the story from Mydway as it was getting hard to continue the story without robust past events told.
However, I do not really suspect anything in konquest to not have happened. some thing were more complicated than what is told in konquest (like the amulet shujinko gives to shinock, way too easy :P). I don't really remember Shinnock's story, but in Deception he mentions the amulet to be different... anyone can clear this up?

Well, like I said, man. I don't think anything that happened with a non-MKD character happened. But, it's possible.
Thus since Shinnok ain't in MKD, I don't think their convo happened.
