Hello.... I just recently got a Network Adapter for the PS2 (to play Mortal Kombat Deception online). But I'm getting very confused on how to set it up properly.
So here I go...
I have a Family Comp hooked up to a wireless router. That wireless router feeds to my laptop computer in my room. The ps2 is in my room... so I'd like to have a connection going from my laptop into my ps2. So what do I do? Do I use a cross over cable from my laptop and into my ps2? Or an ethernet cable?
Do I change any settings on/in my connections? Like.. "share to other networks" ? Or anything like that? And do I have to disable my firewall?
I tried looking for help on google, but I couldn't find much. I once had a Gamecube broadband adapter... I did the same set-up... hook my laptop up to my cube with a cross over cable. I had to change something in my wireless router settings (dont remember what, because I got help)... and it worked for me. But now I'm working with the ps2 and just... blah. Please help if you can. Thanks!
