Has the MK team ever said which kind of endings would be used in a MK?

FMV endings are not cheap to do, but I personally hope to G-O-D they are in here. Arcade mode is pointless to play by yourself without an ending.

Even Street Fighter II's endings were better than the static images in MKDA & Soul Calibur II.

My guess is that they won't be in there. Midway hasn't historically done them (only Eurocom did them with MK Gold). After all the team is implementing 3 new, different game modes plus conducting online play testing.

There aren't going to be FMV endings, they said they'd do it ONLY if they had plenty of time.

They've been working on JUST the opening cinematic for a few months. Don't count on it. I personally don't think its that important, as long as I understand what is going on. But, I do agree, it would be awesome.

I don't think anybody should be expecting FMV/CGI endings. I just hope we get real-time endings, that would be fine by me rather than the text and picture endings.

personally i would be happy if they were just in-game movies for endings. fmv is not needed. i am fully aware of the huge storage issue 25+ fmv video endings would cause and the cost to make them. but...2 pics and some text really will not make me too happy. so far soulblade still has the best endings of any fighting game because you could choose which version of the ending you wanted to see.

^^ and the endings are interactive, for instance, in voldo's ending, if you press right and left very quickly while he's rubbing the sword, the sword will brake, very cool indeed

man they spent all their time making the kata movies for hella characters in MKDA (scorpion, blaze, kenshi, kitana,...) instead of making endings for them!

Oh please, guys think clearly for a minute. The MK Team want to surprise us. They're not giving a lot of information so then we'll see FMV endings that are awesome, and we'll be happy. They're just trying to surprise us, that's all.

Given that in the most recent interview they're still talking about working on the opening FMV, I wouldn't get your hopes up about 24 FMV endings for MKD, let alone even more.
