VH-1's Where Are They Now? (Mortal Kombat Version)

Mortal Kombat Deception does bring back a few favorites... but I'm a little iffy about how a few of them are going to fit into the story.

Mortal Kombat is a lot like Wrestling. They're never really "Gone". Liu Kang Dies.. he comes back. Goro is dead, no he's not. Jerek is the last decendant of the Black Dragon... but Kano is still alive.

It seems like most of the faces we are seeing in MK Deception are faces we've seen pop up through the series. Mileena never really makes the first version... but makes appearances in UMK3 and MK Gold.

It seems all the characters in MK I and MK II make a come back one way or another.

The one hit wonder award in MK3 has got to go to Stryker.

What about Khameleon? One run as a hidden character and then *POOF!*

Fujin... I was disappointed not to see him in MK:DA. It would be fun to get into an arial battle between Fujin and Sindel.

Reiko... His ending in MK4 kicked ASS!!! I really thought he would have an impact on the next game. He just... disappeared.

Who are some of your favorite characters you're disappointed didn't make the cut quite yet? Not really because they're your favorites, but because of storyline's you were hoping would make this game.

Reiko ending was the stuff, it sturd up some much controversity, still to this day people believe he was Shao Kahn.

Kung Lao because he did actaully what Lui Kang did with his brother.Kung Lao avenged Lui Kang,as Lui Kang did for his brother(I forget his name.)I think his story was kinda weak,but he is a favorite to alot of people(I should know.I'm one of them),he still has a lot a potenial(if he gets to keep his Whirlwind Kick from MK:DA and his Hat Throw frow MK3,MKT,and MK:DA).If he is not confirmed,I'm be crazy enough to e-mail the makers of MK:D and ask straight up why he didn't confirm Kung Lao.Also I'll be hottttt!>:0

Liu Kang in the video game was never out to avenge his brothers death, that was the movie...the movie and the games storylines are almost completely different in some aspect's. Notice how Sub-Zero and Scorpion were slaves under Shang Tsung's power in the movie...thats why it was BULLS**T. Sorry, not really that big of a fan of the movies.

Doesn't anyone wonder what Stryker's up to? wink

In reference to the movies, I really like them and think that after the Matrix movies, they're the funniest movies I've seen in years. Moreso two than one.

What about Kai? His ending suggested he might become immortal and he's always appealed to me for some reason. He's a unique character who has a lot of potential after his MK4 ending.

Characters I was hoping to see return:

UMK3 Sub-Zero: They never told us who this guy was, just "a warrior long forgotten, from a previous tournament" or something.

Reiko: Although we know the truth now, they did say he does have a connection to Kahn. I still want to know what that is.

Blaze: What's his quest? Where does he come from? Can I get him to come to my barbecue? So many questions!

Khameleon: Another Zaterran? Maybe it's a bit late now, but if any, what effect might she have on the DK, if he actually is Reptile?

Nitara: Hey, we never know. She might be in. But all signs so far are pointing to no...I was hoping for some more sexy vampire action and intrigue!

Belokk: Make him a character now, dammit! He looked kickass!
