If he did that to me, I'd kill him, then sell my shoe for $1,000,000 to an obsessive MK fan.

Anyhoo, I like the cutscenes. They take away from what I don't feel like dealing with. Now I can skip Story Mode and stick with kicking Superman's ass with every MK character, as well as with Wonder Woman.

Kitana's purpose in the game:
-wasting her time with Liu Kang,
-getting smacked around by pretty much everybody,
-being kidnapped by Scorpion (big WTF moment: brings back memories of a particularly awful movie),
-being put under a "spell" (WTF again) by a "good" Quan Chi (and if THIS is not WTF, then what is?).

Part of the problem is that you don't get to play as her, so she is the only heroic character who is defeated and doesn't defeat someone else in return. "From a certain point of view" it does actually make sense, as the thing is the merging of MK Earth with DC Earth, so the legitimate Earth fighters have to deal with it; Edenia is not directly involved, so there is nothing for Kitana to do.
Which reminds me of one of my golden rules: if a character has reasonably nothing to do in a game, don't put the character in it.

So basically, it seems the MK team's thought on Kitana is pretty much...
"Yes, Kitana is considered iconic and popular, so she was put on the roster. But beyond that, fuck her and fuck her fans."

If anything, Mileena would have had a much stronger approach.

Since she is not a creature of nature, the rage would have had no affect on her. That would have been a great twist to the plot. Meat would have also been good for a part like that.

Man, all I know is that Sonya is looking:

1.- Beautiful.
2.- Sexy.
3.- Tough, Bad a$$ and Faithful personality.
4.- Important.

I truy truly can't wait to either play the game or see all the story mode in awesome quality.

I AM TRYING VERY HARD not to look at any of the vids, but people talking wonders about Sonya everywhere make it so difficult (and YOU posting vids that make this even easier to do!! lol).

N 1 reason why I couldn't help not to see her Fatality. -_-.....which rocked!



Mileena would had OWNED this game.

I have a feeling she and the Joker would had made a fantastic couple. But hey, I'm pleased with the importance they gave Sonya, so it would had been OK if she didn't get much promotion or advertizing.

Well, at least Wonder Woman got a decent showing in this game. Nothing really special, but nothing too bad either (except for being beaten by Jax).
One thing though...they specify that Superman and Captain Marvel's powers are fluctuating; yet Wonder Woman's powers are unaffected. uhhh guys, Wonder Woman's as powerful as Superman and Cap.

I don't think Kitana had a big part in the story at all. She should have been more important. But the cut scenes were great, especially the MK side.

Just see it, queve lol. I'm picking up the game very soon and I saw everything with Sonya. It's fine, even if you see these now, you're just gonna wanna see it again and play it yourself when you get the game! so just go crazy, stop torturing yourself

Trust me, it's worth it. She's Chapter 2, has a good number of fights and cutscenes, and kicks the ass of fucking crazed Tarkatans and superheroes! Seeing her storm up to Green Lantern, smack-grab his throat, and raise him into the air choking him is priceless. She's stronger than I anticipated!

I also agree about Mileena. I think she would've been a flawless addition to the cast, especially with all she brings to the table and all the possibilities she would give the MK Team to work with. I'll keep hoping for her on DLC, as do many others ^_^

Actually, Catwoman interacts a bit with Luthor, but I'm making another point. Catwoman's portrayal doesn't come across as insulting, as far as I know (and I know next to nothing, as I am not interested in American comics, so I just suppose the DC side is ok as it is). Kitana's portrayal, on the other hand, is a collection of everything wrong and degrading and wasteful that could be picked from non-canon appearances of the character. I don't want her to just be in a game, if she is to be trashed like that: if they don't know how to use her effectively, spare me such embarrassment.
Even for the other characters I didn't see anything flattering anyway.

I really want to wait for when I get the game, or at least some decent high quality videos of the story. I just don't think its worth to see it in low-quality, specially because Sonya's glory MUST be appreciated it in the fullest glory possible.

WOW!! Did Sonya really do that to Green Lantern? F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C! She must had looked sexy.

I can't wait to see her against the Joker. I loved the "pretty flower for a pretty lady" scene that we saw.

And yeah, hopefully, we will get sexy Mileena with extra chapters in the game. And if she is in, she better be treated nicely!

Her interaction with Joker is the most hilarious one in the game, lmao! There's more besides the flower thing.

Sonya (To Kano): "You take the ninja, I'll take the clown."
Joker: "What can I say? The ladies dig me!! *turns around with big smile to Sonya and gets punched square in the face*"

I absolutely love the Joker in this game! I'm in the process of mastering him as my second favorite, he's just hilarious, so unique.

And yes, Sonya does a lot of ass-kicking, you're gonna be satisfied as a fan. One of the Loading screenshots in the game is of Sonya raising Green Lantern by the throat, it's my favorite (), it's one of the 1,000,000,000 including her.
