While I'd like to believe this, My hopes aren't too high .. I'm very happy Kitana was not only mentioned in the story, but in Mileena's Bio by Ed Boon. I'm sure if she misses this one we will see her return later.

I don't know if it means they're for sure playable, but gotta have something to do with the story. Afterall, how can someone be your enemy if they're dead?

Eh? I read all three bios, and the only character I noticed out of your list was Shang Tsung, and he was only mentioned as a referrence for Mileena's creation.

I have noticed the names in the ally and foes list too, perhaps the names such as Shinnok, Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi will return. I cant wait for the other videos for more clues. Wow I hope Shinnok returns, like to see if Noob Saibot takes Shao Kahn or Shinnok's side. Damn I can tell this is the best storyline yet, time to update my MK FAQ.

Have u seen the video yet?. At 1st look I thought it was a new look, because it looks better. But if u compare it to mkda 1 it’s the same just touched up. He wouldn’t have a profile if he wasn’t playable. In his profile it doesn’t say that he died, it just says he released his godlike essence.

The fact that Sindel and Jade are together to save Kitana, hints that Jade could be a part of the main roster and Kitana being secret.

Ah, I see it now. Well, it could hint at a return, but they most likely may have wanted to just make the profile more developed. But who knows.

Raiden-If that were true y didn’t they mention kai and fujin in his profile? They r just as close to him as liu and Kung Lao r

Mileena-it looking like the dragon king isn’t allowing her to kill kitana, which he will be sorry. It looks like the konquest character will be unlocking her...

Sindel-she has many many many foes. Why just mention 2? Tanya and shao Kahn.kahn was thought by every 1(characters in the game) that he was dead.he’s not dead

Fans have always wanted to play w/ shao Kahn... now w/ 3-d tech he can still be tall and fight "normally”. He won’t have that Hugh advantage over every 1 like in Mk trilogy... Since he has been weakened by quan chi and Shang tsung...We all know shao Kahn is going to try and get revenge on quan and Shang...man im now hoping for video endings that would be a sweet fight to c in a video shao vs. quan and Shang!!

I wouldn't read too much into the foes/allies. That's just me though. I don't expect Shinnok to return in deception.

However, the fact that they have a profile for Raiden is certainly intersting as I thought he would not be in this one.

Just keep in mind that every character may not be on the character select screen (Mokap and Blaze).

we already know that every 1 will not be on the seclect screen.. i heard from inside sources that there will be a total of 13 hidden/unlockable fighters...im hoping for 24 more hidden fighter..

just because the names are on the allies/foes list doesn't mean the characters qill be in the game, if we're going that way in MKD we will have zillions of final bosses

None of them r final bosses...only the dragon king will be... shinnok quan chi and shang (only in mk1) were never true final bosses... shao kahn is weakened... rendering him as an equal to every 1 else...man if u actually read more of the posts instead of the 1st one.. I go into more detail as to of why I believe this... The biggest thing that stands out is why are fujin and kai left off of raidens allies list??!!

Oh and I love crack... a few people will get that pun...lol doubt u will.

I don’t think that all the foes and allies will be playable. This way there would be too many characters. For example if Jax is in, Sonya would be too and if Sonya is in then we would probable see Kano, Mavado and Jarek and so on. Every character can be linked this way.

I respect your opinion, but I only think the bios themselves mean anything. The allies/foes list seems more like a history lesson then anything else. It's sorta like a past and present of what enemies they had or have.

Either way, we'll see in 3 months.

Ok Dan don;t get your hopes up about Kitana mainly being that shes captured and may be evil. Now I know ur gonna be like if you beat DK in arcade with someone close to kitana they mite release her and have he in the game when in all of MK has this ever happen. I believe we will see Shao the DA and maybe a mortal Raiden also Jade and Tanya this it for now.

I'm just curious why you can't watch the vids. All you need is the newest quicktime and windows media player. You shouldn't need any other codecs to watch these vids.

The Sindel fatality I thought actually looked better in the earlier fatality video. The one shown in her bio movie had her "screaming waves" (I guess you would call them that) very small it seemed. Maybe it was just me but the fatality vid looked more impressive.

i know for a fact that Quan chi is in mk:D because in one of the chess screens he's some of the pieces. here's the link...
