MKA was a failure, it was inevitable because it was planned since MKD. The MK team knew they were going to release MKA with all the characters and minimal alteration. MK Armageddon was destined to be a downer because they did it with 2D MK games as well. Lets take a look shall we : )They have milked each generation of consoles with a 3rd installment and sometimes even a 4th installment containing all the character models from the previous 2 -3 games with little to no new content. I smell dirty business at work and and excuse to post something in so longwink

Hey Shadowcat! First of all so nice to see you! You haven't been on in a while.

Alright, lets get down to serious business. The MK team was planning to do MKA for a long while. That is just their decision and we have to respect it I suppose.

Like I said if you troll around these forums you will find many who like MKA. Well I guess you gotta live with what you like.

But for most of the serious fans, we didn't like it. It had alot of flaws like slow moving characters and and nothing much new to offer.

But that is my two cents ;)

60 + characters was enough to convince me the game would be no good. They spend more time adding worthless characters than they do making the game worth while to play. You start out with all the characters with the exception of 4, two of which were completely useless, which basically defeated the point of playing the game. It was fun unlocking characters, it gave people something to do. But when it comes down to it, if you would have had to unlock characters in this game, it would suck balls. You spend 3 hours trying to unlock Stryker, then you test him out and you're like "This piece of shit is fucking useless.".

So basically, I wasn't surprised much.
