There are already going to be Good/Evil stages that change so why not have characters that are like that as well?

One example would be if Lui Kangs soul was really tranferred to Kano's body?

In the good stages he could be Kano with Lui Kangs moves, but in the evil stages he would just be Kano?

In the neutral stages which would be the majority he could just be one of them. The good/evil side only comes out when the stage is that particular side??

What do you all reckon?

Lui Kangs body is dead, but his soul was captured.

Johnny Cage also died after MK2 kiddo.

But anyway, I was just using him as an example. Whether Lui Kang comes back or not I do not mind either way. But this thread isn't about him anyhow, it's about the idea.

I don't think you should have characters who are both good/evil takes the orignality out of it
imagine quan as evil and the next minute as good will just take the fun out of playing as quan

yeah whether the character is currently good or evil, the movesets will just remain the same so essentially not much will happen. perhaps their alt costumes could reflect an evil appearance?

to do a yin/yang kind thing with the fighters I think they should show emotions on the characets (e.g frustratoin when ur opponet is blocking alot)
Lets just stick to Stages Not Fighters

It's called Deception.

Good characters become bad, and vice versa. But only on certain stages, or even better - maybe just against certain opponents.

Maybe only the facial thisthingisdisableds change or something in physical appearance atleast to make them seem evil/good - different to their normal self.

The Kano/Kang obviously couldn't work for anyone else because there is one body with a different soul. All other characters are not like that.

Anyhow, it was just a suggestion.

It could be like the Slash and Bust modes from Samurai Shodown.

One is like a normal good version and the other is a darker more evil like character. They have slightly altered looks and different moves...

I think this could work really well. It did for Samurai Shodown.
