lui should be in mk6. i dont know how it would happen but he should be in it. he could be ressurected or something. he wasn't my favorite but, the game isn't the same without him.

i disagree

he should stay dead

as i have said in similar threads, his death left a huge impact..it shows that the heros dont always win

to just bring him back would be pointless

plus, its time for another character to shine as the mk champion.

i agree with mr. satan666... if it wasnt for liu kang's demise the whole uproar of defeating shang tsung wouldnt have happened... liu was the geatest fighter but he was always the hero, no one can be greater than him...when liu died people was sad so everyone would avenge his death against shang...

LOL, Im not sure about that, but i do agree that he should stay dead. It is "supposed" to be an impact move on the story line. I do think he should be remembered through out the rest of the series somehow. Maybe he could be a secret character, not part of the story. Though, later on down the MK series.

1) cyrax's mk3 ending said he kill sho kan, and got traped in the sand
2) mk gold says he was traped in the sand, but din't kill sho kan.
this is the pont: MK DON'T MAKE A PONT! GUYS AND GALS COME BACK FROM THE DEAD, lovers have the same kind of teeth, fans and hats are deadly, a man smokes, one of the fighters is a movie star, jax has metal arms, a girl has ice for hair, a man is a millon years old and he look 30-something, a demon uses a ball as a weapon and liu kang is in kano's body! GET *BEEP*ING USED TO IT!

i agree that liu should be in a new mk game, whether it's mk6 or mk7, but i want him in. why is it that just because he is in the game that he has to be the hero, he can be in there for other purposes. i can live without him in a game or two, but 3 umm no. i feel the exact same way when scorpion and rayden wasn't in mk3. just take subby out for a game some of you will know how i feel.

I think Liu Kang should come back, but not as the hero. I think he should sorta have more of a neutral role. Here's my idea:
After the Dragon King returns, Shang and Quan end their alliance, because the undefeatable army is now in the hands of the Dragon King. The game is basically a war between the Dragon King, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, and Earthrealm. Shang Tsung figures that by stealing Liu Kang's soul, he'll be a godlike warrior, but he just can't control Liu's awesome chi. So he resurrects Liu's body, puts the soul back in and tries to taint it evil, so he'll have the ultimate ally. But the benevolent force of Liu's soul is too strong to succumb to evil. He now has no recollection of his past, and escapes from Shang Tsung and goes on a quest to seek the truth.

I think its better to leave him dead, but I also think I miss to play as him. It would had been so cool to see his styles and everything about him in MKDA, but im glad and happy he died. LET-HIM-REST-4EVER.

what happened to cyrax happened in his ending

all they did was tweak it

lie died in an intro, meaning it really happened

he is not cool enough to come back

and he must stay dead so the story can go places

i kinda think liu kang is better off dead but if he was 2 come back i think he should be evil instead of good but if they arent gonna make him evil then he is better off dead cuz if they bring him bac and decide 2 make him good u know how Mortal Kombat 6 will end. Liu Kang will just win liek always so that is my opinion.

I dont think that he needs to come back because he was in every other MK game(except MKDA). I think he needs to sit out a few games. And besides, hes already dead. If they were going to ressurect him they would've done it in MKDA.
