I don't think we'll be seeing Smoke, Liu Kang, or Kabal until the game comes out, or something. Judging from the roster of characters though, I'm excited. I just don't think we'll see the most anticipated characters until the game comes out, or something leaks.

I have a feeeling you're right, they did this with reptile towards the realease of MKDA, they never showed a pic of him till like october (the month before mkda was released).

I think we may see Smoke as it gets closer to release and maybe even Kang but that will be via Magazines, if not then the most we will be able to see will be on a Character select screen like MKDA, some faces were blacked out but we could make who some of them were.
