That red ninja, whick is probably Ermac, has a metal rod with a spike on the end. Take a close look at the pics.

Yes... ermac's (he was confirmed) weapon looks strange... He holds it like a katana... In the picture against mileena looks like an axe... and then it appears as a rod...
any thoughts on that?

^ it seemz to me that hiz weapon can morph into different objectz. In one screen it lookz like a double edged axe with spiked edges. In another screen it looksz like a HUGE, flat, rectangular axe.

If it can morph, that reminds me a lot of Necrid's weapon from Soul Calibur 2.

Maybe the axe is an arena weapon.
