I dont think Blaze will be back because his story in Mk:Da was that he was stuck in that lava and had to gaurd the dragons egg, so now that its cracked i dont think he really has a place, im not sure i cant really remember much what happened in his ending.

Blaze wasn't in MKM:Sub-Zero, that was the Earth god of fire... Blaze is an elemental from Outworld, plus that god might be dead due to shinnok killing many of the gods in MK6. I am not sure if an elemental is a god or what, they didn't explain it, but maybe in MKD they will.

I don't think so. As someone said earlier, he's served his purpose as a guard.

They'd have to think of a very good reason to bring him back.

just because the egg hatched doesn't mean blaze has no purpose anymore he could be one of the dragon kings guards for doing a good job of guarding the egg

I think theres a good chance Blaze will return. he's protected the egg for so long that he probably takes it upon himself to guard whoever/whatever was in it, or is appointed to by the Dragon King.

Anyway, Blaze didn't have much of a storyline in MK: DA since he was thrown in the last minute.

Personally, I think he has potential and I'd like to see him in Mortal Kombat: Deception. In fact, his ending is kind of like a cliffhanger and it makes me wonder what his mission is and all of that. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, but how can we be so sure?

God damn i hope not Blaze wasnt a 'BAD' character i just think that MK can do better without him

i hated blaze in mkda. he looked too much like the human torch. i liked his character concepts in the krypt, where he had the long hair like static-X and the twin axes. that woulda been a bad ass blaze. it was a good plot too. if he is in mk6, he should look like his concept art in mkda

he could be in mkd. his ending in mdda said he was going to finish some mission. of course we dont know what this mission is, but that could change soon.

Perhaps since Blaze was forced to protect the egg against his will he now feels hatred towards it, and wants to destroy it. I can’t see anyone being imprisoned against their will and then being totally ok with it once they’re set free. He’s out for revenge!! He had things he was supposed to be doing and now someone’s got to pay for delaying him.

I though blaze was an awesome concept, we have never really had a fire elemental. Plus, his story tied into the Dragon King Storyline more than anyone else, except of course for Reptile.
