Ashrah's sword is just near Noob Saibot where you fight him. Just along the coastline of the lava river and you'll see it between two stalagmite rocks.

Here is how. Step by step-
1. Get White Lotus headband from Wen in Earth Realm. He is standing infront of a hut along with another guy doing the same infront of another hut. Wen is the guy on the right. You have to get the headband before you beat Konquest though, otherwise they leave forever.
2. Beat Konquest. Go to the White Lotus society and train with Ghost Liu.
3. Go to the Shaolin Monk temple and you will see Kung Lao standing in front of the doors walking back and forth or standing there. I forget. He will give you a mission to find Kai in Outworld.
4. Find Kai in Outworld hiding in the Ice Cave. Talk to him and he gives you Raiden's staff and tells you to go back to Kung Lao. Kai says he will meet you there but he never shows up. But he does disapper from the Ice Cave.
5. Talk to Kung Lao, which tells you to get revenge for the monks at the temple (they were all killed by Shao Kahn). So he tells you to kill Shao Kahn.
6. ???? Dunno, this is where I'm stuck. Shao Kahn doesn't act any different when you have the staff. I also tried giving it to Raiden in Order Realm and Endeia and still no luck. Tried talking to Ghost Liu, still no luck.
Raiden's Staff and the Ninja Star found in the beginning village seem useless.

Someone has to have done figured out one of these quests. It's pissing me off cause those are the only 2 quests left, that I know of anyway.
