He always was good but he betrayed evil with the help of Kitana once he found out that Kahn killed his father. His ending was that he went after Kahn and that it would be a suicide mission but no one knows if he did or not.

Also Kahn is not Dead this was confirmed that he's very much alive and recovering but not playable. He'll have a role in MKD I believe.

If Rain is in Decpetion, he will probably be good. Rain could be helping out Jade and Sindel to free Kitana, or he could be on his own mission to save Kitana because everyone think's he died against Kahn.

Rain could maybe have some battle scars from the fight. If they make him a unique ninja(why wouldn't they), maybe they could show more of is upper body part or is arms and he could have scars all over his chest or arms from Kahn's fist spikes.

Rain could become a kool character for once I think, plus his moves in 3-D would be awesome.

I doubt Rain will be good if he comes back. Whether his actions reflected his intentions or not, he's still a coward. He may not have desired to be evil, but most people whose lives are dominated by fear end up destroying and deceiving everything around them in order to preserve themselves. MacBeth is the best example of that.

Power may corrupt, but so does fear. There is no room for the weak within the alignment of good.

I'd like to see him as an evil general working for the Dragon King. I picture him dressed more like Kenshi.

I agree with both Temp and CMeth.

I believe Rain is good. The weak do hide, But both guilt, Friends and possibly in Rain's case...Even love (kitana), can all be powerful tools to make one want and try to be better. Though it is the weak willed who fail, We don't know how strong Rain's will is. You have to remember that there was nothing for him anywhere else, And didn't even know about his past. All he knew was that he was an orphan. Last i heard in UMK3 is that he found out the truth of his and Edenia's past, And tried to make amense.

I personally dont want to see rain in mkd. Raiden and Nightwolf use lightning, Ermac and Kenshi use telekinesis, Rain had both. I wouldnt mind if he returned with different powers, but his old powers are just unecessary, considering the current roster.

As for HoodedGangsta, every character is going to be in Konquest mode. Bo' Rai Cho is in Konquest, that doesn't stop him from being in Konquest mode.

anyways, i think he would come back good since he knows his father was killed by evil, and of course he's supposed to be friends with kitana so hell naturally wanna make up for betraying the side of good by joining her. Well, i hope he will anyways...
