I want to fight and learn the story, whoever doesn't want to learn the story can't consider themself an MK fan.

I'm buying it for the characters, the story, the content, the Fatalities and gameplay! More or less everything about it really.

Firstly for the gameplay in the fighting game,everything else comes next but has a level of importance.Great characters make the game more fun.

Konquest mode will be a good addition that adds value to the game.I love finding/getting hidden characters etc.

Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat least important.

I'm buying this game so I can play it. Dunno about the rest of you.

1ST its mk,the name itself is one of the reasons im buying it..
fatalities, game play, story, chess, puzzle kombat, conquest..
the characters are the coolest of all fighting games, well soul cal has great fighters too.
Sindel, scorpion, and raiden.. please mk gods put kitana in!!
Chess is going to be awesome!!! Im really looking forward to this!!
Most of all though the online feature!!

-Finishers
-Special Moves
-Dark Mysterious Feel - missing in MK:DA
-Character Personality - signature poses missing in Mk:DA
-Hard Hits - Round House
-Extreme Animation and Sound -Example: The stage fatality seen on the ying yang stage with the piranhas is a good one. Very extreme including the screams. The animation of the blood on the wall in the prison stage adds lot and the sound made when the spikes closed together.
-Anouncer's Voice - Has not played as big of a role recently.
-Replay Value - All the things I mention above need to done well and of quality so the player doesn't get tired of what they are seeing and hearing while playing the game quickly. I never get tired of seeing Barka's blade fury move.

Lets see.

Storyline,characters,gameplay, fatalies, and online<(damn I need Broadband soon!!!)

I like fighting games, I like the story, the characters, the setting, the mood of the game, the fatalities, plus it helps that it has some seriously cool extra modes like Puzzle and Chess.

That and I have never skipped on a single MK fighting game, not even MK4.

Dude, it's MK. Oh, and did someone say Kabal? Hmmm, well, KABAL!!!

Oh, the many reasons (not necessarily in order):

- I love killing. Fatalities for all!
- Improved MKDA-style gameplay
- Brand spankin' new characters
- Old characters I loved have returned
- The Dragon King!!! He rules
- The storyline
- Sindel got the booty!
- How else could I get so much entertainment for only $80 CDN?
