What do you think of the idea of co-op competition?

Sorta like a Tag-team, or anything akin to that basic idea? Two on two? Three on three? An absolute melee massacre, MK-style. With the "adventure" mode of Konquest incorporating a basic melee scheme such as that, I think it wouldn't be too out of the question. The question, I guess, then, is "is it a good idea?" Fatality.

I don't know. I never played Tekken Tag. Just a co-op fight. I don't know. Like Smash Bros., The Bouncer, Dynasty Warriors, take your pick. Just you and a buddy fighting along-side somehow, in matches or melee combat. Fatality.

Are you talkin about the tag team matches from mk3 ehere you choose up too five players for your team then when one loses he explodes then the other flips out of a portal?

No. Two at once. Fatality.

Four players on screen at once? Uh. I don't even think Tekken would do that. That would lag like hell.

Oh, you mean like you and your buddy use two controllers and fight on the same side simultaneously against 2 computer player played characters? So it is basically 4 characters in arena at the same time. WOW that would be absolutely amazing. I would be so damn happy if it happens, that sounds AWESOME.

I don't agree with that.Your back will turn to the opponent too much and it will look like true crime streets of la when two guys are fighing you from different directions.Mortal kombat is also a tournament and two on one wouldn't work. sad

Tekken Tag would be kewl. Then you can tag in your teammate. Also the dynasty warriors would be kewl too. You fight against Shao Kahns or Dragon Kings massive army and generals.

MK isn't a "tournament" anymore. The first two were, but there hasn't been a tournament MK since. It's entirely freelance. Think MKA's melee fights, and you might get a different picture. Fatality.

I think its a great idea. I wish they had some sort of tag mode anyway... It just adds to the replay value. A team battle elimination mode would be nice as well like some past MK's and Tekken's had too!

Not 2 on 1, but 2 on 2. Except for the DK and the sub-boss.

I think it would be cool if MK7 had a tag team mode. Like the one in DOA3. Complete with tag team throws, tag team taunts, and tag team fatalities.

Examples...

Tag Team Throws: Sub Zero and Frost

Sub Zero grabs the opponent from behind. Then Frost stands infront of the opponent and freezes her fists. Then she punches the opponent three times, really hard.

Frost and Sonya

Frost freezes her opponent and then backflips out of view. Then Sonya comes into view (already in thee air) and does a flying kick to the opponent.

Tag Team Taunts: Li Mei and Tanya

Li Mei and Tanya look at their opponent and then look at each other. Then they begin to giggle. For every second they giggle, some of their life is restored. If their giggling is interupted by an attack, they stop regaining their health.

Tag Team Fatalities: Scorpion and Sub Zero:

At the end of the match, Sub Zero deep freezes the opponent and Scorpion melts him with his fire breathe. The opponent is reduced to a puddle of water, bones, organs and blood

Ermac and Kenshi:

Ermac and Kenshi stand on opposite sides of the opponent. Then Ermac and Kenshi position thier arms toward the opponent. Ermac begins to glow green and Kenshi begind to glow blue. Then, the opponent begins to glow a mix of green and blue. As the opponent sreams in agony, Ermac and Kenshi quickly move their arms away from each other and tear the opponent apart in the process. The opponents bones and organs are on one side of the arena, while their skin is on the other side.

hmm so you mean something like doa tag team feature into kinda like tekken tag.. hmm we can even say its more like street fighter ex 3.. yeah street fighter ex 3 sys is more stable.. and they even can have mabe special combos moves you can make for your team... kinda like doa grab and tag... where say if you where ryu hayabusa and you trow tag, and your partner was kasumi, ryu would trow your opponet and she would attack them...

hmm could be like scorp and sub as a tag team.. where sub could freeze his opponet, scorp comes out trows his spear and while hes pulling he does a flying kick...

MK:DA was a tournament. If you watch Li Mei's ending you'll see.
