Really the only two characters I care about are Kung Lao and Quan Chi. I know, Quan Chi isn't really a MK vet, but I hope that he will be in MK6. Also for his story, I think it would be pretty cool if him and the red dragon clan made up one of the teams, along with like... the dragon king, and the earth warriors. As for Kung Lao, it's pretty hard to screw up a badass character like him. Plus, it looks like he might get front seat now that Liu is gone.

You forgot Kano and Reptile.

Cage's storyline needs a SERIOUS overhaul. It's not even really connected with anyone else's; they have to do something about that. Either give him a big plot twist or leave him out of MK6.

Guy above me brings up a good point. I'm sick and tired of Cage. His story has nothing to do with anyone elses. Sure he is in the tournaments... but all he does at the end is make another movie. He dosen't.... get ripped apart by a soulnado, or turn into the dragon king. He makes a frigin movie. I'd say revamp his storyline or kick him out of 6.

I want something specific for Kung LAo: His hat throw looked good in MKDA, but I think he should throw it like in MK2, horizontally, and wee can slightly move it up and down... I userd to always win with that....

Interesting topic. Heres what I would like to see for the following vets.

1. Scorpion - He should get his ninja clan and have a war with Sub.

2. Sub-Zero - He should be teaching frost the values of the dragon amulet and how to become a grandmaster oneday and be jumped by scorp and his clan.

3. Raiden - I think they would have raiden pretty much covered, I had some expectations that where all met for him in mk6.

4. Kung Lao - I don't mind I am sure they have plenty if ideas for him, and I agree I think he will have some more importance now Lui is dead.

5. Shang Tsung - Same as Raiden.

6. Quan Chi - Same as above.

7. Kitana - I don't mind reall, I would like to see Shao Khan come back but.

8. Sonya - Something to do with Jax and Kenshi, all attacking Kano or something along those lines.

9. Johnny Cage - I am seriously over Cage. I feel this should be his last appearance. He should be killed off or something in this one. He just doesn't seem to have a link with the others.

10. Jax - Same as sonya's although he has a feud with Hsu Hao is he is in this one.

11. Kano - He is still with Quan and Tsung as he as kind of in Mk:Da. He should be plotting against Sonya and Jax.

12. Reptile - Dragon King?

It would be cool if they take the idea of Shao Kahn’s and Sonya’s brutal wedding from the official comics and put it in Mk6.

It would be awesome to see Sonya turn evil, being forced by the great king to be his bride. That way, the balance between the two worlds will be broken and chaos will rule both realms, allowing the great king to rule both worlds by marrying a human from earth.

Scorpion - I would like his spear to have multiple properties like pulling jumpers out of the air...or while jumping he could throw his spear forward or diagonally down to pull them up for an air throw or combo or something. Not just the same old horizontal spear he's had for 5 games.

Sub-Zero - Sub needs some useful Ice moves like he had in MK3. The ground, front, and back ice were excellent moves.

Raiden - Teleporting. He should be able to teleport to the same place, behind close, behind far, above same side, above opposite side. So he can mix it up a little.

Kung Lao - Give him his air dash kick back, and have it juggle on counter hit.

Shang Tsung - He's always been the fireball king. Give him the 1 or 2 fireballs back, maybe give him the ground fire...like a trap move that stays on the ground for 2-3 seconds. This could be a combo linker, pop them up and do the ground fire, when they land hit them some more.

Quan Chi - He's a sorceror...let's see some sorcery, not just the green skull thing.

i say make cage a traitor. that'd be an interesting plot twist. like he falls out of the public eye and is turned away by the good allies for some reason and decides out of heat of the moment rage to join the dark side to get revenge on the world that turned against him: or something broad like that.

1. Scorpion- finally gets revenge on Quan Chi, find a way so that his spirit could rest in peace... i really feel bad for this guy...
2. Sub-Zero- train some older ninjas like Jade and a new one like Frost...
3. Raiden- get killed, its about time earth gets a new protector...
4. Kung Lao- main character
5. Shang Tsung- i agree with the more sorcery thing...
6. Quan Chi- same as shang tsung, give scorpion a fight...
7. Kitana- unmasked, fall for kung lao
8. Sonya- reluctantly become 'mrs dragon king' but later becomes evil
9. Johnny Cage- goes after sonya and tries to 'save' her but is turned down because sonya would later be with the dragon king
10. Jax- takes over the group
11. Kano- becomes liu kang
12. Reptile- not the dragon king but will find another fate for himself as the 'one' to destroy the dragon king...

Even though, he's not my favorite character I heard rumors about Lui Kang's return. As in him being alive and not dead is the deception part of the title(most notably in Kano's body or overpowering another with his soul.)
