At the end of mk4 raiden became an elder god and fujin took raidens old job as the protector of the mortals, but in MKDA there was no sign of him and raiden was back as the protector of the mortals. anyone know what exactly happened to him?

You see, what happened is, he was a lame-ass character. So the development team probably decided to dump him in favor of Raiden, who ́s much cooler, for MK:DA. And a good thing, too.

The idea here is all of the endings in MK4 were What Ifs. Now that we know the story to MKDA we know all the MK4 endings were what ifs. So maybe what happened was they decided to make it seem like that didn't happen. But better yet, how do we know if Rayden's ending in MKDA is true? The answere is we won't know until MK6 comes out. So truth is Rayden's ending in MKDA is a what if just as much as the other endings are. So I don't think we should believe Rayden's ending is true in MKDA.

not all the endings in mk4 were "what ifs" midway basically decides which ones will come true and create the basis for the next game. for example. the ending in mk4 (forgot who it is) where quan gets stuck in the netherealm with scorpion is the true one. so basically fujins ending was not true.

Fujin got ass rapped by the soul of Shao Kahn and ran off like a little girl. A witness told Raiden what happened, fixed the whole thing with Tsung and Chi and made up a story about the deadly alliance, so that he could go back to his old job. This means that nobody expects Fujins ass raping troubles, but I know and now you all know, but we MUST keep this to ourselves, if Raiden finds out he’ll electrocute us all!!!!!

ARRRRRR!

Well, all the endings are "What If's". The thing is, even if they make some things from some endings happen, it doesn't mean that everything else in that ending happened as well. The "ending" they use for the story development is usually based on the one for the character they want to win, but it can vary alot due to what they want to do after. Say that they kill Kano in Sonya's ending. In the next game, if they make Sonya the winner of the previous tournament, Kano may have lived, escaping, or having some outside help.

On the Fujin matter, I'd say that, due to the need of the same number of Elder Gods on the Council (there's something in the Krypt about it), Fujin probably got back there after Raiden decided to participate the Deadly Alliance's Tournament.

Oh yeah? Which koffin was this detail in? I've been thinking this over a little. Maybe what happened was Rayden and the elder gods didn't think Fujin was ready to stand up against something evil and ruthless like the deadly alliance. So they all probably agreed to have Rayden go back and help the mortals stop the deadly alliance. Like I said earlier about Rayden's ending beinga What If, maybe what could really in MK6 is Fujin will be back in Rayden's former position. But then again we have to wait and see how it will turn out in MK6.

I liked the one about Fujin getting ass raped and running off like a sissy girl lol Fujin sucked. And I just realized a plot hole...according to Sub Zero's Konquest, Scorpion vowed to protect him meaning Scorp's MK2 ending was true (he realized it wasn't the same guy and became Sub's protector to atone for his brother's death) but in Scorp and Sub's MK4 endings Scorp is still after Sub, whats up with that?
And I think some endings are what ifs, some are real. Like Scorp's in MK4...so maybe Fujin died in MK4. I hope so.

LOL! that was hillarous.

Well Fujin was supposed to be earth's new protector. But with the menace of the Deadly Alliance, Raiden had no choice but to relinquish his status as elder god, so basically Fujin is unemployed now.

Well, it's kind of like this. The developers were going to keep Fujin to begin with, but after he was ass raped it's kind of hard as he walked like he'd shit himself and the developers couldn't create his fighting stance or movement, they just kept laughing at the motion capture guy!

When and where did this ass rape thing happen to Fujin? Did it happen in MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero?

In one of the chats a midway staff memeber said that Fujin was protecting the Earth realm while the Warriors battled the DEadly Alliance in Outworld

Oh I get it. So this must mean MKDA was taking place in Outworld and not Earth Realm. MKDA did not mention that Rayden was back on Earth Realm to be the protector again. So maybe it's like Fujin couldn't be involved with what was happening in Outworld b/c he had to stay back to protect Earth realm. Am I correct or not?

sorta
except some arenas were in earth

but its like this
fujin just wasn't needed
raiden had more expirence
raiden was stronger
fujin was needed elsewhere
i suspect it was his job to protect the earth front from demons during mkda
maybe one day they will make a 1-player game telling fujin's mkda story
like how he decided to stay and protect those that didn't fight, how raiden was saddened by the death of liu kang and he didn't want his "brother" to die aswell
some bull like that

Trouble at mill.

Oh no - what kind of trouble?

One on't cross beams gone owt askew on treddle.

Pardon?

One on't cross beams gone owt askew on treddle.

I don't understand what you're saying.

One of the cross beams has gone out askew on the treddle.

Well what on earth does that mean?

*I* don't know - Mr Wentworth just told me to come in here and say
that there was trouble at the mill, that's all - I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is suprise...surprise and ...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear,surprise.... I'll come in again.

I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms - Oh damn!I can't say it

anyway he was a rubbish charicter and woulden't have stood a chance

Why do people like you despise a cool god like Fujin? What is it you all have against him? I'm able to see good things about him and I hope he's in MK6.

Oldskool, remember me? (I'm still tracking you down, but you're harder to find than a Frenchman in a hostile situation! Heh heh. "American" humor.) Back to the topic. What happened to him? He's sitting on his butt, channel surfing, watching the Osbournes, and picking lint out of his butt! What the hell did you think they were doing up there in heaven? Singing? Dancing? Dream on.

If all of the endings in MK4 were "what ifs" then that would mean that Reiko, Shinnok, Jarek, Kai, Fujin, Tanya could all still be alive and kicking........I am waiting to see all 6 of these characters in MK6
Additionally probably all of the endings from all of the games are probably "what ifs" too.
This will make a great MK6 game since nobody is really dead.
So the character line up for MK6 will be as follows: Shinnok, Nightwolf, Baraka, Shao Kahn, Reiko, Sektor, Kintaro, Stryker, Kabal, Ermac, Kai, Jarek, Motaro, Liu Kang, Fujin, Sheeva, Sindel, Mileena, Rain, Noob Saibot, Reiko, Jade, Smoke, Goro, and Tanya.
Wouldn't that be wonderful?

OK I am finished with my sarcasm now
