Well, in terms of story, I didn't mind the cyborgs. I thought the automation played an important role in terms of events.

But gameplay, I really didn't care for them until MKDA. Even then, they weren't that great. Story is all Cyrax had in my eyes. So no, I wouldn't want Subzero to be automated.

Yeah i like sub the way he is too, but i think this has some story potential. Maybe Sektor trying to convert sub into a tekunin?

I think the cyborgs are cool, it made a twist in MK when we were first introduced to them. Cyrax and sektor are awesome, and the cyborgs play a decent role in the MK universe.

IMO though, i wouldnt want subzero to be automated. I think it would dissapoint tons of subzero fans, and subzero just wouldnt be subzero anymore. I also think it would ruin the story a bit.

However, i do think it would be interesting if the older subzero came back somehow and became automated, having ice powers in a cyborg body.

Perhaps sektor could create a cyborg with ice powers, to deal with subzero. It would be a battle of ice vs ice. I like this idea, seeing subzero coming face to face with his own powers would be kick ass.

Sub-Zero is left the same, we get to see an ice cyborg, and I really want to see what a female cyborg would look like.

Awesome thinking. Therefore, they could study subzeros techniques and fighting skills, to make the ultimate cyborg that could counter all of subzeros moves. It would be a tough match for subzero, and i think it would be cool.

Theres always the chance of the "dead" brother Sub-Zero being revived into a cyborg..

definite story potential here... i mean who in this game is really out to get Sub-Zero who alot of you think could be the main hero. Sektor vs Sub conflict ;o

It would've been a good teaser if they had made a render of a blue cyborg ninja with his hands frozen. Then released it as the first image for MKD. It would've stirred up a few people.
As for it to be real nah let sub continue to change and have an evolving story.

I've thought of that a hundred times and thought it would be freakin awesome. The only problem would be with a robot, he wouldn't have his powers. They would have to make something like nitro glycerin tanks on his arms.

the cyborgs were really gay at first until they actually made one really deep into the key story ie cyrax mkda but to be fare i have made renders of what subby would look like as a robot in photoshop and honestly it' not bad i had icicle hang of the face mask and every thing but its on my other computer

what if Smoke finally caught up with sub-zero and automated him but he kicked his ass in the process so what if he was half human and robot the story would have meaning to smokes return no?.

It would be cool if Subby Senior was Automated, and was on a mission to Kill Scorpion.

I say Frost is angry due to being thrown out of the Lin Kuei, because of her attack on Sub-Zero in an attempt to steal his amulet. Though consumed by her own freezing power, she is broken free by Sub-Zero before her death. Injured and being exhiled from her new home she searches for the only member of the Lin Kuei she remembers defying Sub-Zero recently. The cyborg only known as Sector. Traveling to Japan Frost finds the whereabouts of the Tekunin. She bursts in and destroys several of the cyborgs that attack her. Sektor himself calls his followers off of her. Wanting to greet Sektor Frost lets her guard down, and Sektor attacks her seeing her as a threat even after she lowers her guard. Holding her by the neck she finally gets through to him that she wasn't there to kill him. Sektor analyzes the recent events as he drops her and is impressed that she took out many of his automated assassins without cybornetic enhancements herself. He tells her that she will be automated and turned into a cybernetic assassin. He says the only other choice is death. Frost excepts automation, but wants to keep her soul. Sektor agrees. Knowing much more than his masters did about cybernetic enhancements, he enhances Frost in ways that wouldn't destroy central parts of her brain, unlike himself where only programming dictates his wants and needs. She would be the first of her kind. Frostbite is born. Sub-Zero will die. All Lin Kuei will be consumed that the efficiency that is Tekunin. No one will stop them.
Anyway I think Smoke would be targeted by the Tekunin(sektor would see his cyborg counterparts as threats) and he recognizes the model of cyborg that attacks him. He seeks out Sub-Zero to warn him that there are more than the original three prototypes. Sub-Zero and Smoke vs. Sektor and Frostbite...

Sweet...Just FREAKING sweet.
