What if The Dragon King was the sub-boss and Onaga was the final boss? Read for my theory how.

It seems that Shujinko some how was responsible for giving the Dragon King his powers. What I wonder is at what point was he still Onaga and was he human at that point? Was he a friend of Shujinko's or maybe his teacher? Maybe Shujinko was Onaga's teacher. Somehow in the past they are tied together. And if becoming the Dragon King was somehow a result of something that Shujinko did and he also has a human form, I think having his human form as Onaga would be a great final boss. It would be reminiscent of fighting Shang Tsung from the original. Any thoughts?

Great theory. It would be cool to fight the DK as the sub-boss, and when you beat him he turns back into his human form for the final boss fight. Possibly the kamidojo (the amulet that Shujinko is searching for) has something to do with the DK's powers. It would be cool to beat the DK, and when you beat him the blue amulet around his neck is broken, and he returns to his original human form. Cool, cool theory mkda!!! grin

That was actually stated in mkda's original thread starter.

Thanks man. I thought it would be cool to fight both forms, if there is two forms. I just have a hard time thinking that Shujinko had something to do with Onaga if he looked the way he does because Onaga gained his power through deception. He somehow deceived Shujinko, and I think that his present form is the result of his power.

Onaga IS the Dragon King. How could there be two forms?

I like this idea and if it were true then noob smoke wouldnt be the sub boss...but then onaga would almost have to be playable and boon dont want that...i love this theory but i dont think it will work...sorry man...hopefully its something along these lines other than he just "appeared"

I like the idea too. I'm not sure it's the case, but it is a cool theory.
And for you idiots who don't understand what two forms means,....Are you stupid???
Shang Tsung has a demon form and a human form(and many others for that matter), why couldn't Onaga???

Wow, I haven't seen this thread in quite some time now. I hope it doesn't get closed. My theory at the time was that Onaga was human before he somehow became the Dragon King. I made this theory before Noob Smoke was confirmed as Sub-Boss.
