I would love to see Kabal back in MK6. About new weapons, there's some old concept art around of him (named Sandman at the time) with a pair of hand held buzz saws, with tonfa handles. I think they'd be a pretty good weapon choice for him.

Yah, heh, we all want Kabal back. Not sure if it's going to happen. As someone stated, it was never confirmed that he died. And I thought the same thing; if he survived the extermination squads, then how the hell did some lacky gang-bangers kill him o_0?

I know you said "Don't Flame" but I think that there are a few key points I must say in polite criticism of this post. It would be completely un-American for me to be unable to disagree with you. So for the betterment of American society, and the respect for the opposing opinion, you see that I must state my case, out of sheer curtesy.


To begin my rebuking of this shit for brains backward ass horsefucker, I must state that Kabal is dead. It is part of the story he is dead. They specifically wrote him out of the story because they want him dead. Be happy that they actually gave him the curtesy of killing him, instead of just assuming that he's a corpse, ala Stryker (that pudgy bitch with the machine gun). Kabal has no purpose for staying around.

Lets look at the story a bit closer. You can find all of this written in the subtext of Deadly Alliance. Mavado killed Kabal. Mavado took the weapons away from Kabal and beat him with the hooks, then stomped in the dorky ass helmet covering his deformed face using his 8 inch spikes on Mavado's boots. After that Mavado then continued to stomp the corpse until he failed to hear an interesting sound come out. After that Baraka found the remains. Being bored, Baraka proceeded to fist fuck the corpse out of sheer humor. This is Baraka remember, he did this with his 3 foot arm blades fully extended. After that, he created new orafaces on the corpse, which he proceeded to engage in a sexual manner. By in a sexual manner, I mean that he inserted his freakishly sized and shaped nomad genitalia into the freshly cut openings all over the corpse, or more accurately described "puddle".

Have I made my point that Kabal should not be brough back.

Dude I think I speak for everyone when I say that, that was the sickest shit ever on the MK5 forums. Now back to the topic at hand, yes I have to agree with you that Kabal should not come back. He really has no place in the story what so ever. He can't really beef with Mavado, because Mavado and the Red Dragon is going to be to busy getting rapped by the improved Lin Kuei. Kabal was a pretty useless character overall...so I too say let the freak stay dead.

Well, it probably would be cool if he did come back, but if Mavado did kill him, then it's no big loss if he is there or not.

Yeah Mavado's cool.. Mavado's a new story... Kabal is past history... And don't get me wrong, I'm not a Mavado fan either, in fact I'm with the Special Forces (especially my dear Sonya ) but I mean, Kabal even appeared to be killed by Mavado in MK:DA...

If I remember correctly, according to Mavado's and Kano's respective Konquests, it said something like Kabal was SUPPOSEDLY killed, and IT'S BELIEVED that Mavado took his hookswords. It doesn't seem wise IMHO to just assume Kabal is dead when there are all these supposedlys.

I'd like to see him return, but as far as a new weapon, I think his hookswords were one of the coolest things about him, he should take them back from Mavado. Or maybe he has an extra set.

if Scorp & Kenshi have the same weapon - so could Kabal & Mavado they could get away with it. If not - someone mentioned some concept drawings of Sandman(Kabal) with some tonfa-like handheld buzz sawz. very kool - this could freshen him up considerably.

You can find this picture at the annals of Mortal Kombat. Look under S for Sandman, the outfit and mask look different too, more like a horror movie maniac.
