What is with Darrius and Hara-Kiri?

I don't know about the PS2 version of Deception, but on the Xbox version, does anyone notice that 95% of the time you beat Darrius, he does his Hara-Kiri? I've probably only seen him not do it five times since I've had the game.
Does Darrius do this to anyone else that has the Xbox version.

I have the same problem but with Baraka instead of Darrius.

what i've noticed about the hara-kiri's is that they always happen on the first person you beat in arcade mode, no matter who it is.

Noob-Smoke about 99% of the time always does his, as well as whoever the first person I fight in arcade mode is.

The 3rd fighter in Arcade mode is the suicidal one for me.

I've also just noticed that Darrius is one the main characters that is the first fight for me.
