What was Monsters story (bio) from MK Deception ?

I think he was not really important in MK:D,he claimed he was the true champion of the Elder Gods and nothing else about him in terms of story,it was also said that he woud be the alternate costume for Scorpion in MKD but was scrapped.

Monster was the former Elder God champion. In the nexus, there is no time or space.

Monster is(almost) a joke character.
so no real background for him.
he is not hanzo hasashi(real life scorpion),he's just a monster chosen by elder gods.
they picked up the wrong guy however,he et his ass kicked by shujinko...nuff said!

ok, if im wrong, im sorry. but here it goes.
Monster is Scorpion!
its just that if they revealed it to be scorpion in the nexus confronting shujinko, it would have revealed the deception before konquest was even over.
monster is scorpion, sent by the elder gods, he just appeared as a "monster" to shujinko. if it was revealed that it was scorpion was send by the elder gods, then it would be apparent that shujinko's mission was fake.
IMO, monster is scorpion, after all, in the e3 build, monsteres costume was scorpions alternate.

That was the original plan. The explanation being that after being defeated by Shujinko at the end of Konquest, the Elder Gods had sent Scorpion back in time in his "Monster" form to stop him.
However, the MK team dropped that idea, feeling the whole time travel thing was too confusing. That, or they realized how fucking stupid it was.
So no, Monster isn't Scorpion. He was going to be...but they dropped it. Monster was the previous Champion of the Elder Gods sent to stop Shujinko. He failed and Scorpion is his replacement.

Actually Monster is Scorpion but Damashi (Onaga) created an illusionary spell to make Scorpion look like a "monster" so that Shujinko wouldn't be like, "Wait a minute, I've heard of this Scorpion person before..."
Also, in reality Shujinko is in his late twenties or so during the time of Armageddon, age wise. Appearance wise he's in his 60s, because he was stuck in that aging water in a realm (forget which one), thus him being that old. Remember Shang Tsung asked Shujinko if he would join the Mortal Kombat tournament (the same tournament where Shang Tsung hired Noob Saibot (Sub Zero) to be in the tournament after he retrieved Shinnok's amulet from the Netherrealm, thus giving it back to Raiden, where in reality it was the fake amulet because Quan Chi made a copy of the amulet and gave it to Shinnok before Noob Saibot ripped the amulet from Shinnok's neck. This whole "Armageddon" thing started when Goro killed Kung Lao 500 years ago. Shang Tsung absorbed Kung Lao's spirit/soul and by doing so obtained information to where the map is for the secret amulet (Shinnok's amulet). Shang Tung struck a deal with the sorceror Quan Chi 1985 (since in MK3 storyline, it says that the plan was enacted 10 years ago. MK3 took place in 1995.) That's when the whole storyline of MK Mythologies took place, back in 1985 looks like, around the same time the beginning of events of Shujinko/Damashi took place. While Sub Zero was searching for the amulet, Shujinko was searching for the first few of the 6 Kamidogu, and Daegon was awakened early...
See how everything just connects and coincides with everything else in the MK storylines/timelines?
Not too many fighting games can boast of a rich and in depth storyline like Mortal Kombat can.

No, wrong. Because Shujinko was still very young when he encountered Monster...long before Scorpion would have even been killed and become a spectre.

No, he's older than that. Aging in the Chaos Realm happens very early on in his life, and it only ages him into his mid-twenties. The rest of the time he ages naturally. So during Armageddon, Shujinko is only ten years younger than he appears.
(since in MK3 storyline, it says that the plan was enacted 10 years ago. MK3 took place in 1995.)
No, it doesn't say the plan was started 10 years ago in MK3. It says the plan for Sindel began 10,000 years ago after her death. They never specified when Quan Chi and Shang Tsung made their deal...only that it happened shortly after Goro killed Kung Lao.

No, wrong. In MK1, Scorpion states he was killed by Sub-Zero two years before MK1...which took place in 1991 or 1992. And no, it's not around the same time when Shujinko first met Damashi, because that had already started years before the first tournament. Also, in Konquest, Shujinko tries to enter the tournament in MK1 and that's happens long after he fought Monster.
