sai's or daggers. pick one. doesnt matter which since they're the same thing on the gameboy version of MKDA and MKTE

Actually sais are supposed to be more of a blunt weapon used for striking and trapping, rather than sharp weapons for stabbing (ie: impaling) ect, so that makes perfect sense.
(At least that's my understanding...if i'm wrong then i'm pretty sure i just made myself look like an ass.)

what i meant was (since my other post was four monthes ago) is that sareena's weapons are confirmed as sai's, it says so in the selection screen, BUT, the sprites in game have them exact duplicates as frost's double daggers from mk:da, but they act like sonya's kali stick's in moves from mk:da.

You're 110% correct. I own 2 pairs and I've been training with them for about 2 years and I've never heard of IMPALING someone with a sai... I don't even think it's possible unless you're like super-strong or something.
