What's the story on Jarek and Fujin?

Will either of them be playable characters? I know that they are in one level in prison cells, so they are atleast making a kameo like Boon said all MK characters would. Would anyone want Jarek or Fujin playable?

I would take Fujin. But not Jarek. He was complete shit. I say let his Kano-wannabe ass stay in the prison cell and rot.

I'd rather have Jade or better yet Kitana, even though I'd still like to see Fujin and Jarek as well!
