heres an cool idea for mk that has never been done in a fighting game before lets say scorpion throws a fireball and liu kang throws his fireball then they collide then it the whole screen turn's white then you think your in a new stage but your in the same stage you were in a few seconds ago the stage is damaged badly windows are broken some thing's are on fire your bleeding and bruised cool idea huh?

yeah I like it. If you do this a couple of times, the walls can start to crumble (if there are walls) and the arena can go more and more from looking like a temple or a grassy field to the site of a post-nuclear war attack...
Don't mean to flame, but that's too much Dragon Ball to use in MK. OK, I would like that if you would dodge a fireball, upon hiting the wall, it would make a hole in the wall, but fireballs in the MK universe don't have that kind of energy. Maybe make a huge flash, and even push both characters back, but not to the point of destroying the stage around them...

If they're going to do anything with fireballs, at least rip off DBZ in a cool way. Have them collide so you have to pull off a series of button combinations to have one over power the other, that would be kinda cool.

oh i didnt know that i havent watched dragonball-z yet but i use to collect the cards and the pics i dont know about the charcters maybe goku and thats it.

If walls are crumbling and stuff and the characters are bleeding, they'd eventually die, probably limiting the arena damage anyway. It was a good and cool thought, I think would negatively affect gameplay a little though.
Kind of like the Impale thing. I mean, it's funny the first few times cause you can pretty much point and laugh (as long as you're careful. A bleeding oppenent tends to fight twice as hard and twice as fast), but really, I think the game would have been better witout the impale.
It sort of cheapens the match at times, and it also seems to limit some of the fatality options.
I mean if I can stab a sword through a guy and it takes him over a minute to die while he's still fighting me, he shouldn't really die so quickly during the fatality. I only bring this up because I think stabbing fatalities can be cool given the proper reaction and the way in which the stabbing was done. If it's just a regular move though, it sort of takes away from it all, and that may have been a reason we ended up witht he neck stretch fatality and a couple others.... stabbing fatalities may have just been boring with the impale move around.

bad idea, i don't think it can be done as well as you describe, maybe a burn mark on a wall or something, that is possible.

1.- a thunder cant coliide with fire.2.- i dont mean to flame but the idea of pressing butons to power up the fireballs make dbz a boring and stupid game. i think that when fireballs come togheter they have to continue their way that make that both players think before throwing something
