Where exaclty do you UNLOCK things?

I've read two different places you "unlock" things in deception.

1) Konquest mode: As you travel the town and surrounding area as a monk, you meet up with certain characters at certain times to unlock things...anybody know what exaclty you unlock in this mode?

2) I also read that the KRYPT is returning, which in turn would bring back koins to purchase things...do you unlock characters and stages here?


MY last concern involves characters moves and weapons and specials...MY guess is that you start off with 4 out of 6 moves and must unlock the other two ( maybe by learning that char. moves in konquest). ALSO, WHAT IF it is a possibility that your char. starts off with ONE fatality and you have to unlock the other?

it sure as hell would make you play each character through and learn their skills.

Holy sh*t, I had thought the exact same thing all along. I thought the next Mortal Kombat would be much more interesting if characters were upgradeable. It should lengthen the games replay value a great deal. It would also certainly make online play more interesting, should someone pit a maxed-out character vs. one less fully developed. Great idea!!

You unlock new characters in Konquest, along with areanas and maybe new moves and weapons. The Krypt will probably be used for unlocking new outfits, sketches, and other little extras. Maybe new modes.
