Some time after MKDA was released, an enhanced version called Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition was released. This edition had a few more characters, such as Sareena and Sektor.

Anyway, Sektor's ending revealed that he still had some hard feelings about Subzero defeating him when they were battling for the Lin Kuei Medallion. So anyway, he decided to form his own clan and automate those who joined. To his luck, a few joined, and most of Japan followed(probably by force).

Well, the rules for endings are a little different for MKDA than they were for MK4. In MK4, it went that the ending only applied if THAT person beat Shinnok. In MKDA, all endings are true unless they openly contradict another ending. Hence Sareena's, Noob's, and Sektor's endings all occured.
