Mk1:

NINJAS: I loved the way Scorpion. Sub-Zero and Reptile looked in this game. So simple and unique with those awesome costumes. They looked real, deadly.

I don’t really like the looks that came after Mk1. They started to add many unnecessary objects and details that made them look too “heavy” or “charged”. Just me though.

SONYA: I liked that outfit. Very simple. Her top was pretty cool, and I loved the headband and waistband she had.

SHANG TSUNG: He looked amazing.

Not Ermac, Rain or Noob. They are finally original (well at least Ermac & Noob are)...
I liked the MKDA Scorp the best, since the newest incarnation is basically a blah version of it...
Subby's doing well, too.
I think Quan Chi's MK4 costume was cool, though.

I think this thread seemed to be pointing towards Reptile considering he had the most changed appearance, and I agree he should go back the mk2 ninja, force ball and all. Old Shang Tsung was more badass too.

Reptile is finally original. He got out of that lame pallet swap circle of characters.

He looked awesome in Mk4, and fantastic in MKDA. That is the drastic change some characters need in their appearance.

I wouldn't mind old school outfits being second or third costumes though.

I agree that reptile is finally unique. but i do wish he would go back to being a ninja i just didnt like his DA costume at all except for the fact that he is indeed unique. i mean look what they did with scorpion and subby, im sure they could find something to do with a ninja reptile again.

Heh, its funny how wide the variation of opinions on reptiles new look are. I understand the argument that hes finally original, but I still think something alot cooler could have been done with a new ninja outfit. I think they got the perfect balance of old and new with Ermacs new look.
