MK:DA no question

How many times do people need to be told this? MK is NOT GOING BACKWARD IN GAMEPLAY. They are trying to advance it. I haven't played MKTE, but I think MKDA had better gameplay than the classics.

um, i have, both, mk:da and mk:te, and besides mk:te having no weapon styles, just having the weapons as special moves, its just the same.

anyway, i hated the old, hp, lp, hk, lk crap, its old, leave it be, i really prefer the new system, as it offers more, i just hope all the martial arts are real and that the moves look realistic, mainly for the porpuse as mk:da in my opinion, is the best mortal kombat ever made

The classic MK games, while they may have been fun, had very shallow gameplay by today's standards; hell, even by the standards of games like Street Fighter 2, where at least characters' fighting styles looked different.

I'm pretty sure MK6 will use MKDA as a base, but hopefully it will develop the styles a little better, and have them more true to the real life styles.

Gotta love deadly alliance. The classic style always holds a place in my heart, but they can no longer compete with the kind of gratification MKDA gives.
