Nomads? Aren't nomads people that go around seeking for food, like prehistoric people for example.

remember..Baraka is not from Earth, so he doesn't relate to the Earth definition

They might be nomads and it might be one of the deserts of Outworld. But I don't remmeber the nomads having horns, so they might be oni and it could be the Netherealm.

theyre from barakas race of nomadic-type people some of them look pretty cool too it looks like the one in the very front has horns...which is pretty sweet

Maybe you have to fight them. Like they just roam around and you can fight them. I dunno.

i was looking that picture and ask myself the same thing,who are thse guys and wich realm is this....if they're Nomads the realm maybe the Netherealm,most exactly the Wastelands,where Baraka's race lives....just my thought.

Baraka is a Mutant. That's his race. They're called Nomads because that's what they do: migrate to other places where they can slaughter countless innocents for their enjoyment.

Correct me if im wrong but i thought barakas race of "Nomads" had retractable blades on their arms, but one of the people has an arm gauntlet, whould they be wearing those.

Baraka belongs to the "mutant" race, and no, they don't all look like Baraka. The mutants happen to be a "nomadic" people in Outworld, and Baraka is the greatest warrior among them.

"Nomad" is a life style, while "mutant" is a racial alignment.

I would have to agree that they are nomads since well they look like Braka.

He's absolutly right. Nomad isnt the name of Barakas race, they are mutants. Its suggested that after Kahn's takeover, races from the other realms he conquered joined the mutants in Outworld, forcing them to live a nomadic existence. They all dont have to appear as Baraka and Mileena do. They can most certainly posess other body deformities as part of their appearence and posess other abilities.

As for the picture, giving the red sky, hellish creatures and atmosphere, im guessin its the Netherealm and those are some of the demon inhabitants. Rememeber there are two different known types of creatures from Netherealm... Onis and "demons". Oni's the likes of Drahmin and Moloch and Demons the likes of Shang Tsung and perhaps Kahn (entities who hide under human facade). The creatures in the picture can be your basic grunts or usual inhabitants of the Nethrealm, tortured souls or perhaps Oni themselves.
