Who DON'T you want to see in MK6?

I don't want this to turn into a flame-a-thon, and this is just my opinion.

Leave out:

Sub-Zero, Rayden, Cage & Sonya from MK: Sub Zero is old and static. I still like him a lot, but they've done just about everything with him that they can. Same goes for Rayden. Cage is another good idea that got boring. I like the twist in DA with Kano, but the plot with him and Sonya has gone nowhere after SEVERAL games.

Jax from MK2: In a word, boring.

Sindel, Stryker, Nightwolf, Cyrax, Sheeva, Ermac, Rain and Motaro from MK3, UMK3 MKT: Just never got in to any of these characters.

Jarek, Tanya, Kai, and Fujin from MK4: almost all of these characters had plots that seemed like rehashes of what we've already seen. Just call then Kano, evil Sonya, Kung Lao and Rayden with some outer differences.

Li Mei, Frost, Hsu Hao, and Bo Rai Cho from MK:DA: The first is boring, the second is just about as close as the MK team has ever come to outright copying a character, the third has an awful look, almost no story, and crappy moves, and the last one, well, outside of the vomit, he's pretty boring as well.

I don't want everyone to think that I'm just bagging on all the characters. I like some of the ones that I don't want to include. Especially the people from the first MK. I just think that it's time for this series to cut down how many old characters it has and go for something newer and better. I mean, out of the 21 selectable characters, only 8 were new. It shold be reversed. Take 2 characters from MK1, 2, 3&4, and DA, then make the rest new.

Okay, flame on.

Leaving Raiden out will cause me not to buy MK6! As my favourite character, I'd be really angry if he wasn't in MK6! Leaving Sub-Zero out would cause mass outrage! Leaving out Sonya would be silly and I think peeps would again complain.
To be honest, most of the characters you named won't be left out due to their stories leading straight into another game

I would like to see more new characters, but they should definetly remove hsu hao from the game.He is the freak character that's always in every fighting game, that always looks too far out of place.He has no place in the mk storyline. I always try to avoid any contact with him.I think that drahmin is next because he is pretty much a shallow character. The last is jax. I used to like him. In mk2 and mk3 he was cool. But In deadly alliance he was disgusting. He gone too. I think they should focus on putting the newer characters out first and giving the older charcters out as hidden or unlockable fighters. Maybe like giving them special circumstances to play as or fight against. Like in mk2 when the toasty guy showed up, or when jade or smoke showed up in certain stages.
The only character really do not like and dont want in the next instalment is Jonny Cage! I just cannot take the guy seriously!! I think Boon said he will NOT do anotha MK without Scorp and Sub neway. So too bad if u dont like those 2..(who wuddnt like them neway! They're great!)

Well they haven't given him a ponytail and goofy glasses yet.
There's still lots of ways Subby can be explored. I hope he never leaves MK, not ever. Subby is the shit.

So, basically...you don’t anyone back! I agree on some like Bo Rai Cho.

But please! Rayden? Sonya? Cage? Jax? Sub-Zero? Etc???????

You are killing all the originals and classics! Those are a must in Mk! They are the characters that make us play! You will have the 99.9% of the fans angry if this should ever happen in an alternate realm.

I respect your opinion, but I think it’s a terrible idea.

I prefer, in a game, 95% old characters and 5% new. -.- Make like 20 originals in the next MK, and maybe 1-2 new ones? I hate when games add new ones; so lame. Just keep the original ninjas. AND FOR F SAKES DON'T MAKE ONE OF THE OLD NINJAS ANOTHER ANIMAL!...

he is the hollywood martials arts superstar
he is a legend
he aint boring
he is violent and skilled

look at his fatalities in mk2 ..... he aint boring

but in mkda , its true , he's a little boring

just make him cooler , then the game is gonna be ok....
i was almost pissing in my pants when i lookt at mkda : NO LIU KANG ....... i was like ......stupefied....they removed a four-times-grand-champion .... its sad

DA new characters sucked period. If thats the best new characters they can think of then i'm ashamed. But w/e who ever sed raiden should go is gay. W/O him i would have never beaten molach. but yes cage is gay, same wit sonja.

i agree..i could think of better new characters...how bout a giant sumo wrestler that has super vision and i giant axe that makes people shit their pants....ok nvm that. but yah the newer characters really did suk..they realli gotta do better.

When it comes to people I dont want to see only 3 people come to my mind.Mavado Hsu Hao and Drahmin. I just didnt like these guys. I hope we never see them again. When it comes to Drahmin I wouldn't mind having him back only if the part about him merger with him and Quan Chi comes to , then I would like to see Drahim in human form.

Yeah, I'm sure I went overboard with getting rid of Rayden and Sub-Zero. I just want to see some new characters, that's all. I guess most of you disagree, but your points definitely have merit.

I didn't like Li Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Frost, and Drahmin and I agree that EB and company can do a lot better on the creative side with characters.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off. I never said that I didn't LIKE any of the characters I wanted to get rid of. Sub-Zero and Rayden are two of my favorite characters. It just seems as though nothing ever really happens with them. I guess I'm just getting sick of some of the plotlines.

But to whoever said that I want to get rid of all of the characters is just plain wrong. I grew up on this series, and I don't want to see it changed all that drastically. Keep the series favories, and bring in some new, GOOD characters. I'm not being to abrasive here in asking that, am I?

Other characters I rather not see again is Bo' Rai Cho and Hsu Hao.

If Johnny Cage's and Kung Lao's stories are not updated, they need to go as well.

Note: I will not type my response in regards to the removal of Raiden from MK6. For if I did the flames would be so high they would melt your computer. furious

jax sucked, i never really liked him.

i think they need new species from outworld, and original species. baraka, reptile, goro/kintaro/sheeva, motaro, all where original species.

nitara, a vampire, pretty interesting, but still a vampire is old news.

they need like a new species, and not some gay stupid crap, a kick ass rambo like dude species that is huge, strong, and so forth.

im tired of the pussification of kickass concepts

Here is my pick on this.

Sub-Zero: Even before MK:DA I said that Sub-Zero could be portrayed by long lost sister of original Sub-Zero. Yes a female with Sub-Zero name looking for a Scorpion since her brother (origial Sub) disappeared. This could lead to is he dead? or not? This could have been a good twist in Sub-Zero story. Interestingly enough MK:DA comes up with character named Frost.

Johnny Cage: One of the most potent characters that Midway never hit big. I liked the idea that they killed him for 3rd game and then ressurected him n 4th. There has to be a more deeper story to his ressurection. I always wanted to see that Johnny Cage has actually been resurected by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi and now joins them. The best figher Earth has now becomes their enemy. Cage's soul has been possesed and the only way to free him is to kill his resurected buddy which means killing Johnny once and forever. Will his buddies from Earth go that far? If they don't Cage will organize the klan of his own bringing in the best elite fighters from other side and could take the role of next big leader like Shao Kahn had.

Kai: This guy had potential to replace Liu Kang. Too bad they never went that far. He could have taken Liu Kangs place and turn the page in MK universe.

Nightwolf: This mysterious character could become a new elder god & join forces with Raiden & Fujin become a next big thing among the fans. Maybe we don't have to go that far but he certainly could be conection between gods and earth warriors. Too bad Midway never even scored with Fujin at all. That lowered the credibility of Elder Gods

Stryker: Since Cage has changed the sides, Stryker can take his role among earth warriors. Cokcy and arogant Stryker minus police gimmick can fulfill missed spot after Cage's side switch

Now the character that I think should not be brought back:

Kano: His story has been told and it's time to go on. Blackdragon is the past.

Cyrax and Sector: Why they brought back these characters after MK3 I don't know. They did have a purpose for MK3 but not beyond that. Maybe they can bring them back if they somehow restore them to human again. Maybe

Sonya and Jax: This is getting way too old. Whole agnency thing looked good but they never aquired anyone new to join them and now it's too late. Again Blackdragon is gone

Liu Kang: If you want to keep MK fresh, change the main guy but let him follow the legacy of old one

Bo Rai Cho: Worst character ever to be featured in MK.

Kitana: After Liu is gone she can take some break

That's it for now. I think Kabal should be brought back and some otheres but I will address that later
