i agree to a degree. I dont think he should get his family back and then live at peace because he would have no purpose in MK anylonger and he is my fav so that would suck. Quan Chi should sumhow like bring back his son or even make scorpion think his family is in Quan's control and then Scorp should fight him but loose and then return to the netherrealm and gather his strength and then return and raise all hell and massacre everyone and take over all the realms. But thats just my opinion.

Yeah I thought of that Scorpion wouldnt have a purpose anymore. But he should have a new reason he should be a inmortal with even more powerfull powers and he could join the earthrealmers to thwart the enemy menace as a force for good and his family should be immortal to so he wont ever loose them again. And thats my 2 cents..

it could work but then it also could not. Theres a chance people would love a good human Scorpion, and theres a chance they could hate it. Personally i hope Scorp never looses his sadistic im just here to kill u attitude but thats just me.

I think they might ruin a great character even if he does need a story boost.

Agreed. It's a good idea, but Scorp shouldn't get his family back because what would mean he has no more reason to fight, like you said....I also like your idea on Quan and Scorp...This rivalry should continue with Scorpion always getting close to getting his ultimate revenge, but then (being the slippery Snake he is) Quan escapes and lives on to torment Scropion.

Scorpion ain't totally immortal. more like undead. he can be killed but can come back. I think he should finally get revenge on Quan Chi and make his storyline directed towards something else

I agree with you that he shouldnt loose his Hard Ass character but i'm a sentamentle guy so I just wanna see him happy. And now that he has his family like it said in his MK2 ending if i remember it said he fight to protect Sub-Zero. So maybe Scorp and Sub can fight along side. OH MY GOD STOP THE PRESSES did I just say Scorp and Sub fight together aww why not Scorp wouldnt have a reason to hate anymore so why not go back to his Mk2 ending of protecting Subby.

What if Quan Chi ressurected Scorpion's wife and tainted her soul so he could use her against Scorpion?

I'm assuming Scorpion's family was part of the Shirai Ryu(?). If they were then Scorpion's wife should be a pretty good warrior.

Id like to see scorpion as ruler of outworld and boss in the next mortal kombat, with a new look and twice as strong, of course. His family is gone, and should stay gone, now he should worry about himself, and hand out some major ass-kickings just for the hell of it.

I know what turnie were in now but I was using that as a refernce since a lot of people are saying he wont have a purpose after he kills Quan-Chi. So he now will have a purpose to look after Subby and his family. But he should be an immortal with even stronger powers given to him by the elder gods by killing the Dragon King. And alongside Sub-Zero can look after the earth like he realized soooo long ago.

I know it's MK6 Deception. What i was getting at is if it's still considered a tourny for earth realm or a fight for all existance. That's where I am lost.

Sorry, I was more into playing the game and not so much into the story.

Scorp doesn't necessarily have to lose his "I'll ownjoo for free" badass tude'. It simply needs to be directed in a new direction. He doesn't "have" to get his family back, either. However, it would be nice if there was a bit more emphasis regarding what it is that he's fighting for in the first place.

What could happen is that "human" Scorp could somehow manifest into being, living on with his family. While his "spector" could be what is present now. Kinda like a full circle thing, a total brain rape . Then you could have cameo appearances from human scorp in fatilities and pits and what not, like tag team shizzle .
