Without a doubt, been waiting for this since day PS2 went online!

i hate ps2 online.Once they fix all the cheating and glitching people can do with the ps2 online...then and only then will I think about using it again.Also get rid of the dumbs dumbs on it i.e. team killers,screaming kids,etc etc.I'll stick to xbox live.
I know someone is gonna say it's free,but if paying 12 measly dollars a month is gonna fix all of the above,i'll take the 12 dollar ticket.One more thing.I like having one name for every game I play rather than every time a new online game comes out,you have to pray someone didn't take your name you used in another game.

xboxlive plz, = ownage. who cares thats what is keeping their buisness and you get a lot more for xbox live you don't have to bu an adapter and it comes with a video game and a head set. plz.

I'll be online on both PS2 online and xbox live. MY xbox tag is RepTiLeStyLe , and thats the name i intend to sign up with for PS2 when the game comes out.

For all the fanboys/haters... Having both i can make an unbias opinion. Like everything else in life, there are pros and cons, and the phrase you get what you pay for really comes into play on this one. Yes, ps2 online is free (even though you do have to pay $30 for the adapter), but the servers you play on are way inferior to the xbox live server. You always have to worry about 1. how much lag will there be, 2. how many people are in that server (the more in, the more lag),3. if the server is actually up ( PS servers go down ALOT). Xbox live, you can pretty much guarentee a solid connection every time.

On the flip side, it has already been said that the Ps server will be capable of rooms just for MK where everyone can meet up/organize a tourny, where as on xbox, all you can do is hit connect and be matched with someone (though you can have a buddy list and reserve that game for friends/a certain friend)...

And what about downloadable content; something the PS2 doesn't have. And voice communication, and also, you can't contact friends because you don't have a solid profile on PS2 online.

Good call bro.. Im still new to xlive, still not familiar with all the features, but it is way obvious it is better than PS online.

1st I just want to say that I am unbias. I will get the PS2 version on Oct 4th and sometime later this year I will also get the Xbox version with Live. 2nd Boon has said there won't be any downloadable content for either PS2 or Xbox Live. He has hinted at the idea for MK7.

I wish i had bought Xbox because it seems alot better for online even if u have to pay. The only reason i didnt get Xbox is because of the damn controlers, and i just found out that u can use ps2 controlers on xbox with a connecter. So i might get Xbox, if not i will be on Ps2 with the username JoRdAnMaN! Prepare to die bitchs
