I've seen them in older movies, that chinese men have long ass hair, like Kitana's in MK:DA, but longer, and they wrap it around. THey is it when the fight other people.

im sure thats just for show. i know what your talking about but i think they just use as a weapon to piss off their opponent, like whipping the bulb(tip) of their hair at the opponents face.
