Consider all his moves and you have a nasty character to fight online against. Should he even be considered a balanced character like the others?

Yes, Because he will only have 3 fighting styles(which ever ones you give him)just like all the other charaters.

I'm sure he will have a limit to what you give him. You will probably be able to give him 3-5 special moves. (Just a guess)
Also, if he is the most powerful character, that is why he is probably the hardest of them all to unlock. BTW, his name is Shujinko.

just expect this character to be pretty cheap in terms of combos and stuff because he has a huge edge over other characters. think about him having freeze and tele slam and all kinda of stuff. I like the idea but Im not sure about it being online.

Shujinko will have an indisputable advantage in the online arena once players discover how to mold him into the most effective fighter he can possibly be.
Considering the specials alone which we've seen him use in several video clips--including Scorpion's Spear, Sub-Zero's freeze ball, Ermac's Telekinetic Slam, an updated version of Liu Kang's classic Bicycle Kick and Li Mei's juggling vertical spin kick--in addition to the launching throw which promises big damage and superior setup opportunities, he already looks to be a force to be reckoned with.
When you think about it, Shujinko could almost be considered the ultimate form of Shang Tsung; the best of the best all rolled into one utterly brutal fighter.
It will be interesting indeed to see how this character works with the new online component MKD will introduce. The potential for unlimited freshness or terrible disaster (from a balance perspective, specifically) looms to a degree never before seen.
In any case, we all will witness for ourselves how things will unfold in less than a week's time. Keep counting the days....
